yes you can unpartition the SDCARD but if you have apps in the ext partition then you will loose those. You need to run a2sd remove command to move your apps back to internal memory also how much space did you allocate to the ext partition and what is the size of you card? What kind of media do you have on it (mp3s and videos)

You may have accidentally set the partition too big. I would follow the directions above to put all of your apps back onto your phone, if they're not already. Then format the SD card. Backup the files on the SD card that you want to save on your computer. I always recommend occasionally formatting the SD card. Because (with me at least) while using the phone, installing and uninstalling apps and whatnot, junk files will accumulate. After a while those will add up and take up a bunch of space.

i partitioned just what was said in the rooting for dummies guide (amon ra recovery)..i dont remember exactly...

i have no media currently

since i am backed up on TB can i just kill what i have on the SD and undo the partitition? then reload from TB?

Maybe i should know why i should/shouldn't be partitioned in the first place...

I will need a step by step on A2sd use, can someone point me in the right direction...keep it simple please!!

thanks again in advance

First let's find out what is eating up your space.
1. How many nandroids do you have? I recommend no more than 3. And even 3 is a bit much.
2. What is the size of the card?
3. What kind of apps are you using?
4. How many ROMS & KERNELS do you have stored on card? Here I recommend only 1 reliable ROM.
5. Do you have the means to get a bigger card?

one

2. What is the size of the card?

8gig stock card

3. What kind of apps are you using?

i have other than GAPPS-->tuneIn, TB, i have SetCPU but havent used it yet, epocrates and audio-digest (two medical apps, one which stores some lectures in mp3 format, i am not sure if they are d/l'd or still "in the cloud", ESPN sports center, weather chanel, not much else loaded since rooting the phone, no games,

4. How many ROMS & KERNELS do you have stored on card? Here I recommend only 1 reliable ROM.

one rom, one kernel, loaded, i unloaded all the zips since flashing, i still have the superwipe zip loaded on...

5. Do you have the means to get a bigger card?

i could always buy one...recomendations? where to buy? i dont have one on hand tho

I would plug the phone in to the computer and check the propertys of the folders. Also hidef videos and pictures in the dcim folder can take up space fast.

solved,

i am afraid to admit that i need to do something too simple to fix my problem...

the OP (AKA <---me) forgot to empty my trash before ejecting my card from the computer...duh, so other than physically moving the name of the app, i never really trashed the files...now that trashed, i have PLENTY of room as expected!

ignore me sometime
