Help No Subtitles?

Hey i recently made the move from Apple to Android and im still new to this.

i have a anime video on the LG G3 that was transferred from my computer to the phone, but when i watch the video on the phone no subtitles are displayed even though the video is Hard Subbed.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I don't have any experience with this happening but it might be getting cropped. When playing the video with the default player, click on the three dots at the top right of the screen. you have options for screen ratio and subtitles. If none of those settings help, try a 3rd party video player.
