Root Noob root help

Hey yall im new to the SF world come from a rooted and oc'd droid 1 does anybody know if universal androot works?
 
No it does not. I tried it. It doesn't hurt anything but says I cannot root this device, or something along those lines
 
yeah it was confirmed awhile back that univ androot doesnt work and i was thankful as for awhile there was no phone only root apps.

doesnt take long to root the "right" way on your computer with the method saps provided. :cool:

Yea I think it took longer for the files and drivers to d/l than the actual root process;)
