Help Not Getting GPS Signal

For a long time now, maybe even since I've had this phone, I haven't been able to get any good GPS signal on it, regardless of the ROM.

I tried updating my PRL to Sprint 01120 but there's no change. It says the map is accurate to 1900 meters, and when I try to use the Navigation map, it just says "Searching for GPS..."

Is there any remedy to this?

Some people report that CM7 or MIUI will improve the GPS, but that isn't always true. You might have some messed up hardware in which case you should try to call VM for a replacement.

Are you doing this from inside your house ?

Try downloading GPS Status from the market and use it (outside, turn wi-fi off) and see how many sats it locks.

Instead of using Navigation first, try Maps instead, once locked, then try Navigation.

Try what piper said, GPSTest is a good app for that too. And you must be outside.
Btw, prl has nothing to do with GPS.
aGPS is non functional on our phone, so the first lock in a new place usually takes a couple minutes or longer. After that you should get a decent lock in a minute or so.
