Root Not Receiving calls

Waz up people.....lately ive been having issues with my evo....i've been rooted since the evo first came out and been using backed snack rom, recently i switched roms to cyanogen and now currently Fresh 3.5. with the lates radio, wimax and pri..... The problem is that i am not receiving phone calls or text but i am able to make calls. Has anyone experienced this problem? I switced from Cyanogen because i thought it was the rom but now that im on Fresh im still having the same issues. Please help

have you tried going back to a nandroid that you know worked?

very well could be an issue with the rom...or could be that you need to flash the radios again

I think this is an ongoing issue with sprint. I have the same problems. They occur intermittenly. The last time I called sprint and they had me do a battery pull, update my profile and update my prl. That seemed to help temporarily, but sometimes my sms are still delayed. Maybe you could try and update your profile and prl.

I've done all of the above...I was on the phone with Sprint advance tech support yesterday and they didn't even know the problem. He called me back 10 mins later on my evo and it seemed to work...but as soon as we hung up i tried calling my phone and it didn't work.....Today i woke up and i check and it worked fine for about an hour and boom it started again, Not receiving calls or text. I've been receiving calls from weird numbers and once i tried calling my evo and someone else picked up...impossible cause i had my evo in front of me.

A while back I sent a text to my buddy on ATT and someone else responded (different number and everything) to him like he sent the text message. It was really weird.

So i figured out the problem after going into the sprint store. They told me that My account was put on fraud block! They said calls where being made to Cuba. I told them it wasn't me, so they suspect that someone cloned my phones ID. This explains the reason why i was getting weird phone calls from unknown numbers and when i tried calling my phone from another phone someone else picked up. lol WOW

Just learned about this little BUG. It's a common bug in most of the Android devices. You send an SMS, but it doesn't go to the recipient you wanted it to go to. It goes to someone completely different. I think they said it only effects %5 of users and Google knows of this bug and it is considered a MEDIUM Priority.. Which IMO, it should be HIGH and fixed now. I know I don't want some random person getting a message know one but me and whomever should see.
