hello. im having a similar issue as the original poster. im sorry for reviving a thread. if you would like i will start a new thread.
i am using hboot 1.15 s-on with TWRP 2.2.1. im trying to get CM10 on my evo lte. the problem that i am facing is that when I ran the command prompt, it said it was finished and it took 2.420s. once i restarted my phone, i basically fell into an endless boot loop. it would show the typical sprint bootscreen, then it went to the htc "quietly brilliant" screen. then the red lettering under the HTC logo would appear talking about a disclaimer. then the phone will shut off and do the whole thing over. i was going to try and run the command again but now I cannot "mount" my device in TWRP and simultaneously restart my device as required by the command prompt screen. any suggestions?
i just rooted today for first time and i followed the regawmod instructions. that went smoothly. i havent done any data wipes or ext partition wipes ( i remember doing that with my old g1). lol i recently upgraded to the evo lte and have been out of the rooting game for awhile since my g1 was so old. are things like wiping and repairing ext 3 partitions still needed?
