Not Stock Android

True that, but: we 10%ers influence a whole bunch of 90%ers on which phone to buy. Verizon would be well advised to listen to what we have to say and quit pi$$ing us off! :)

Agree all my friends and family come to me with what phone to buy. And pretty much whichever phone I tell them they usually get and I stay away from moto and their locked down products. Verizon is going to make money why not just let the phones to be easily unlockable. I mean tack on all the bloat you want that is easily removable with an unencrypted bootloader.

Why is everyone so whiny? Damn, this phone is going to be amazing. This phone will be 10 steps up from anything Verizon has ever released. How could you complain one bit about that?

Because people like to whine no matter what. The prime wont be 10 steps up it will probably be on par with the vigor and replaced a few months later.

Prime being 10 steps up is quite stretch. But I see at least three or four major things above vigor. Faster processor, bigger battery, ICS from get go, Super AMOLED HD screen.

Maybe, but then again I'm dealing with a Droid X2 right now and everything is 10 steps up from Motorola software.

Really? I'm on the original DX and have no problem with the Moto software. In fact, I'm hoping that by the time my upgrade is due, Moto will come out with something similar to (maybe even better than) the Prime, but with webtop capabilities.

The processor is very similar since the prime is rumored to have the 4460 which is the same as in the bionic just binned differently. Also thee vigor's processor is a combination it isn't an a8 or an a9 its different so not really an old processor. The screen is iffy. Nobody knows how the vigor screen will be and super amoled screens don't show true colors and to me I like my phone screen to look like something natural and realistic but people like the super amoled screens although htc screens aren't to bad either.

The processor in Vigor is Snapdragon S3 at 1.5Ghz most likely. It's the same one as in Evo3D but just at higher clock. And Snapdragon is still with Cortex A8, not A9 design. So OMAP 4460 at 1.5Ghz will easily outdo S3 in Vigor. Though some might not prefer colors of Super AMOLED, I don't like dim HTC screen that often color is washed out outdoors either. But I agree that screen quality of both remains to be seen. But most of all, show me that Vigor can last more than 5~6 hours in 4G unlike Tbolt first, then I'm willing to talk. Until then it's Prime for me all the way.

I agree. If htc made another mistake by having such poor battery life I will tag away from htc until they change it. Only time will tell.
