Help Note 2 will not turn on

I just got a Samsung galaxy note 2 and I can't turn it on, when I plug it in to charge, I get a picture of a battery on the screen but that's it. It wouldn't turn off before so I removed the battery, now it won't turn on

i moved you to the note 2 forum where folks who have your phone can help you out better.

if the battery drains completely it may need to charge for a bit before you can turn it on. have you tried leaving it charge for a while and see if that works?

im sorry but since you are new here i don't know your level of expertise so this is just the basics for turning most android phones on/off. when either turning on or turning off the note 2 you must hold the power button ( right hand side ) for up to 10 seconds. hold the power button until you see the galaxy note logo appear. to turn the phone off repeat this process with the phone on. if you do that and it still does not turn on or off, just take it in for a reset.
