How ya liking the case so far? Was considering this one or a couple of the other Spigen cases.

I second Twister on that! I have the Seidio Surface and it is a real nice, solidly built case that is fairly slim. I got it with the holster also. Makes a good pairing.
yikes, that costs $55 on Amazon...a bit too rich for my blood! Not spending $60 (with tax) for a case!!!

That case looks great. I wish they made bumbers like this. I think with this phone you can get away with no protection with the back of the phone being resistant to scratches and scuffs. It would also cut down on the thickness on your device.

T-Mobile in Pittsburgh had black S-View covers today. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the corners of the case extend from the body just a little bit and would hit the ground before the screen in the case of a corner drop.
My Seidio surface case with holster showed up in the mail this morning! Pretty impressed with it so far. Very protective for such a slim case. It is well made and feels great in the hand! The holster also feels very well made it isn't flimsy or cheap feeling by any means. Also its got a little metal kickstand on the back that you can use to prop up your phone to watch movies or slideshows or what not! Here's some pics for anyone who wants to check it out!

Thank you for this post. I have been a long time Seidio user and was considering waiting for the Active but not really wanting the extra bulk. What do you think of the Surface drop protection?
It seems like it would be rather protective... I have not actually drop tested it and don't intend on doing so lol One of the reasons I ended up going with this case is that is covers the back obviously but also all sides/corners of the phone + there is a slight lip around the front of the phone so if it fell and landed face first on a relatively smooth or flat surface the screen would not actually hit the floor (again unless it landed on a rock or something, the lip isn't that large as u can see in the pics)... All in all i think it would offer up pretty good protection

Oh awesome, I pre-ordered the red version but that won't ship out. Do you think the minimal lip will still allow a tempered glass screen protector to fit? I saw videos that say the surface case is a VERY tight fit so i was worried the added thickness might prevent it from going on.
