Note 3 cases?

I remember when the Note 2 came out and there was a similar deal in the US and us guys over the pond missed out :)

Received my Otterbox Defender today, it's not as bulky as I thought it would be, actually a few millimeters thinner than the Defender was on my iPhone.

Bought an ultra slim cover/case from ebay for cheap. While it felt decent and fit great, it didn't work well with wireless qi pad. Not sure if it would cause GPS problems, but figured I'd post the one I purchased, in case anybody else wants to give it a shot.

Luxury Ultra Thin Metal Aluminium Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Protect | eBay

Looks a nice case with plenty of choice for colours.
I have just ordered an S-View case which is supposedly 'genuine' so lets see eh!
With my work its normal for me to use a flip case and then put it into one of these.....

for shock/drop protection.

I bought a 'Cellet Teramo Vertical Leather Carrying Case w/Removable Belt Clip for Samsung Galaxy Note 3' from wirelessemporium dot com (As a new user I can't post a link.) and I have been very happy with it.

While I will usually have my Note 3 in a shirt pocket or cargo shorts pocket in the summer, once in a while I'll want to have a belt holder for it. I did buy a clear back case when I bought the phone and it fits into the pouch without having to take the back case off. It is a snug fit, but there is no chance of the phone ever falling out of the pouch.

The price was excellent, $14.99 with free shipping plus a free $9.99 stereo headset. I'll probably never use the headset as I don't plan on listening to music or watching movies on the phone, but free is free. :)

I think the quality of the pouch is very good, especially for this price.

Nice looking case, very stylish. I had the exact 'style' of case on my Galaxy S2, unfortunately I dropped my phone and the case offered no protection,(phone flew out of case and the top/edge got damaged) so please be cautious of this .

I agree. Anything that is not covering all sides of your device at least a little bit is just a pretty case not protection.

Glad to hear, as I ordered a Defender for my Note 3 despite having concerns it would add too much bulk.

Received my S View case today and first thoughts are good. Basically the same as the official flip cover but with the added functions of the window. Ok there isn't alot of options for the window, maybe that will change with future updates(unlikely) but for me the ability to check my phone for messages etc without having to open the cover is great news as I work in the construction industry and my hands are not always the cleanest.
I got this cover off Ebay, the guy had 2 new ones to sell and for

Three things you'll notice:

1. The first time you swivel the belt clip, it will feel like you're about to break it off. Twist it anyway.

2. Placing it in the holster, it will click slightly at first, but it's not all the way snapped into place. Press harder.

3. Lifting the power/usb cover to plug it in will seem like a pain. You'll get used to it.

Overall I'm very happy with it. No issues with the included screen protector, even in combination with the clear film screen protector that I left on it.

I'm currently using the Trident cyclops. Cheaper, slimmer and lighter than the Defender. I have 2 UAG cases, Slim Armor, S-VIEW, Defender and Cyclops. Cyclops gets used the most.

I think it would be great... if they made a case..
that would cup the external speaker and re-direct the sound to the front!!!

so that we don't have to use our hands to force the sound forward.
our hands are soft..and it would dampen some of the volume.
using hard plastic.. would/could help make it louder to the front.

I just got my yesoo knock off s view case I bought on eBay for $6. Having owned the official s view case there really isn't any difference quality wise. It feels good and the s view function works perfectly. I'm impressed.
