Note 3 cases?

Does anyone know of a case/holster combo that will fit the note 3 with the wireless charging back installed? The stock Verizon combo only works with the standard back.

I am not looking for the smart case but one that includes a holster for the phone. The wireless charging back is a bit thicker than the flimsy standard back that come on the phone so I need a case to accommodate that extra thickness.

Has anyone had any issues with the Otterbox Commuter case port covers not laying flat and sticking up. It is kinda bugging me, but not as much as my Defender case stretching out around the edges.

Thanks

My Defender's cover stick out a very small amount. I find it helps me find the flaps when I need to open them. I don't find them a problem.

I am using the Spigen Neo Hybrid case which is slim enough to accommodate a QI wireless receiver plate underneath.

The case itself is very very snug especially with the QI receiver there, but provides excellent protection and does not add a lot of bulk at all, also it looks rather smart.

I pick this because of my specific need to install a QI receiver, I dont think there are THAT many cases out there that can accommodate it.

Anybody here have any experience with this case & holster for the Note 3? I will be buying myself a Note 3 before long and am trying to do my case purchase first. Whichever one I choose I will first put on tempered glass, probably from iloome. As far as cases goes I was thinking of UAG but have thought more about it after seeing pictures of the various cases standing next to each other in this thread.
The UAG just seems too bulky to me now after seeing the pics. Does anyone have input on the Platinum Series case & holster from Best Buy for $45? I seen a good review of it on youtube but have not seen it mentioned here.
Other than the Platinum series I am thinking either Spigen Neo-Hybrid or Spigen Slim Armour, probably leaning more towards Neo-Hybrid.
Any advice please. Especially on the Platinum series since I only have the youtube video to base my info on.
I figure the tempered glass will be my No. 1 defense with a slimmer case as my secondary protection.

Thanks for any help guys. Be gentle as this is my first post. TIA :)

I got the cheap $5 one from The Cell Phone Shop .net. it works well, i've dropped it, my kid has dropped it and so far so good.

My #1 recommendation in buying a tempered glass is the ultra thin, less expensive version. I dropped my phone on the screen side for the 1st time the other day and no issues. As much as I loved SGP products, the tempered glass is a little overpriced considering you can get ultra thin versions for much cheaper and it protects the screen way more than a regular screen protector.

Can you tell me which tempered glass brand you talked about to me? The one I am considering is the iloome 9H Premium tempered glass. I am basing this selection on an excellent youtube video demo. this product. Although not cheap it has the hardest screen protection available (9H) but also provided great responsiveness using the stylus.

I have read that not all tempered glass provides this same feel for the stylus. I will pay extra to have good glass protection. If you have another brand that provides 9H hardness and the stylus works well with it I am interested in other brands. Please let me know.

I believe that I would like to get the Neo-Hybrid case with glass protection but also would like a holster that would work with the Neo-Hybrid such as the one Platinum Series for the Note 3 from Best Buy. Can anyone recommend a good solid holster like this one that will work with the Neo-Hybrid?
I believe that this case & holster is supplied to Best Buy by Seidio as it looks identical to their Surface case. Thanks for any info. :o

This is the one I purchased from ebay and have had no issues after install

I basically searched ebay for "Galaxy Note 3 ultra slim tempered glass" at the time. There were only a few options back then. Now, there are a bunch of offerings. I use it with an ultra slim case also found from ebay.

Another choice I just had not thought of. I currently have the Galaxy S4 in a Tech 21 impact case. I have forgotten how good it fells in my hand. Not slippery at all and very thin. I just realized that they make the same case for the Note 3.
Has anyone here had any experience with this case for the Note 3? Compared to the Neo-Hybrid is it thinner than the Hybrid?
I wonder if it has the proper cutouts for the stylus and opening beside the stylus on the case? Kirk out!

If you know someone who's interested, Case-Mate is having a site-wide 50% off sale this weekend. Use promo code AZDGSANC at checkout. Expires 07/05/14 11:59 pm (EST)

Plenty of cases to choose from for OTHER phones too. Sorry, I didn't know where else to post this!

I tried a Tech 21 for a couple of days before taking it back to the store (long story). I don't recall having any problem with the cutouts for the stylus. I've been using a Neo-Hybrid since returning the Tech 21 in April, and by comparison it's maybe slightly larger with the bumper than what I remember with the Tech 21, but not enough that it bothers me. I also have the UAG, and while I think this is the best case with great protection and styling for the money, given the already large size of the Note 3 it feels even larger in my hand vs the Neo-Hybrid and Tech 21. However, for a smaller phone like my prior S3, it's UAG all the way for me.

Up until today, the Neo-Hybrid had become my favorite case for the Note 3. However, this morning I found the bumper snapped right around the thinner cutout area surrounding the S-Pen. I don't drop my phones so I was surprised to find it had broken, seemingly on its own as I only used the phone briefly before walking out the door when I pulled the phone out of my pocket and found it in the broken state.

So now I'm shopping cases. It's either going to be the Spigen Slim Armor in Slate, or an Incipio Dual Pro Shine in silver. I like the styling better in the Spigen, but I really like the silver on the Incipio. I guess if I can find accurate dimensions I'll go with whichever is thinner.

Saw this case on Amazon, and definitely had me intrigued. Only reason it's not for me is due to it looking fairly thick, but I know many people don't mind bulky cases (for added protection). Coolest part is being able to hold 3 cards and cash, while also acting as a kickstand:

Amazon.com: Galaxy Note 3 Case, SKINU [Metal Slate] Galaxy Note 3 Credit Card Case [Shockproof] [Kickstand] [Mirror] Hybrid Protective Cover Case - Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, International, and Unlocked - Case for Galaxy Note 3 / Galaxy Note II

I'm in the process of adding a tempered glass front insert to my Bounce case. BTW I've been in the hospital for two months and my phone has taken a few bounces from my hospital bed and desk. Absolutely no damage to anything. The glass insert comes with a second case. I'm getting a gray case for variety (LOL)

Oh man I really like the credit card holder...that would potentially make it so I would only need to carry my phone around on bar nights...when taking my wallet out can be scary :o;)

or someone can swipe mah expensive phone off me because crackhead - and hey bonus numbnuts now has all my cards and stuff.

so now I'm out my expensive phone that I partially rely on - thus most of my contacts I don't remember their numbers - and my ID (if bar hopping you need your DL) and my credit cards/debit card.

just don't think it's a wise move - course I also live in the most dangerous city in the US. so there is that

Yeah, I get you in that train of thought as well. That's another caveat that would prevent me from getting it also. I like the convenience of it, but I'd be freaked out if I got my phone and credit cards stolen, just because they were packaged into one.
