Help Notification Sound.. Low?

I was wondering if this happened to anyone else.. I have had this problem since the day I got the phone.
The notification sound is extremely low when a text is received, or anything. ALL the sound options are FULLY UP, even the thing is checked saying to match the phone ringtone (which is loud). I even make sure i louder the ringtone on the computer; when testing the ringtone in the place where you select it, it is loud! But when it is actually used through the phone, it is almost non existent sounding.. What is the problem? Am I the only one?

is your phone rooted if so use a app called volume +. leave them all up but ringer keep that at 75% this app will blow out your speaker if not careful.

Im using volume+ version 1.7.4.1 I not6iced that some versions of the volume plus dont work and some versions do. Try downloading this version thru google and after you install it, make sure your volume under your sound setting are all the way up. Then go to the volume+ app and select speaker setting>eq setting and choose your setting. I have it under good quality. Then go to volume level and select a low setting like +3, then after that you can raise it up all the way to +15. It will make your phone loud and it is recommended to put your ringtone volume at 75% but I havent had any problems with all the volumes all the way up but for some reason you have to set it up with a low volume setting first so it can actually work. If you set it at a high volume right away, it doesnt work. At least on my phone its like that.
 
I also have low volume on notifications. I was going to try an app so I guess I'll try that one. Tried like 3 different apps & none made notes louder. :(
