Numbers for every thread ??

Many times, the links in ATR sticky or anywhere on the site are dead due to simple reason , the ROM has got its [beta] tag removed or something like that !

links turn dead simply on changing the thread names !

hence i think its now a need for forum to have Numbering to each thread and the links be numbered (unlike now where the whole title comes in the link ) ..

Like we have in XDA ?

May be this is a hard job to be accomplished but, i think at-least the newer threads have this feature!!!

The site should be keeping up with name changes and title changes not affect incoming links. Is this not the case?

If the thread is renamed, the only thing that breaks is the auto-generated link title. It becomes the url However, the link still works, just gets messy in appearance.

A work around is to use the (url=www.url.com)link title(/url) tags manually with square brackets
