Help O2 Desire wireless?

My O2-branded Desire has now been updated to Froyo. If I try to use its wifi it connects to my router (with a valid IP) and shows full strength. When I open the internet with it, however, it open its browser and the green bar on the loading address only gets as far as the 'p' of http before it stops and just sits there. If I switch the wifi off - it's perfect. Why doesn't it work on either my home router or my work one?
It's got me beat.

Reset the router - Home Hub's do this quite a lot. Devices claim to be connected but no data is received.

Thanks for the reply. I have noticed that rebooting the router does sort the problem out - but not permanently. Perhaps I need to look for another router . . .
