October 21 2011 IS THE END OF THE WORLD.

Then why are there so many different versions of the bible?

There aren't. The versions you speak of are merely different translations into English (or any other language) by different people at different times from the oldest or best manuscripts available at the time.

They can and do vary because of that which can be a good thing where different nuances can be brought out by different translators. I can be a bad thing when a translator just gets something plainly wrong...but then that's not so bad because you have the other translations to cross reference against in case of any doubt.

Here endeth the lesson

"There is no single Bible, as the individual books (Biblical canon), their contents and their order vary between denominations."

I have a free service whereby I will manage all of the assetts of those who are taken up in this, or any other, rapture.

I'll happily remain behind with the sinners to ensure all of your property, possessions, liquid and fixed assetts are maximally utilized in accordance to your directives (or maybe just however I want but hey you are in Heaven now so what do you care if I sell off your life's work and blow it on strippers and booze?)

I have all the necessary paperwork prepared and dated for October 21,2011. Simply contact me with a complete assett disclosure inventory and I'll take care of the rest.
God Bless and God Speed.

all transactions final no refunds of any kind in the event that you find yourself unhappy, unkempt and/or unraptured. Your mileage may vary, unsafe at any speeds, do not operate heavy machinery, may cause anal leakage, two for flinching, what is good for the goose is good for the gander, drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry.

That's why "religion" is so screwed up now. The Bible is comprised of books but yes depending on denomination they may have different orders and contents but the teachings/meanings are generally the same. It varies between who translated. The original Bible was written in Hebrew i believe and then translated to other languages. Of course things get lost and messed up in translation, which bring us back to 10/21. Somebody F*cked up in translating and interpreting.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, save some books that most protestants don't use that were written in either Aramaic or Greek. The New Testament was written in Greek.
