Yeah the only place to get the TPC case for the external battery is at HTCPedia. The external battery and door fit fine into the dock, it's just the addition of the case.

Oh and I forgot to mention, the Thunderbolt's external charger works on the Rezound batteries since that's actually what I'm using.
If you're talking about the external one from Seidio that's what I've got to and I used it to charge my extended Rezound battery. Luckily when I sold off the accessories for my Thunderbolt, the guy I sold them to didn't have the Seidio external charger. At the time I wished he had so I could recover the cost, but since it works on the Rezound I'm glad I didn't sell it.
So I tried out the extended battery yesterday. I powered on the phone at 8:30am with the phone showing 97%. For most of the day I only did about 3 phone calls and about 5 minutes of web browsing. After doing the calls and web browsing and with a round trip travel time of 3 hours through fair to spotty coverage, at 6:30pm the phone showed 91%. So after that I decided to work it over a little bit. I did about a solid hour of web browsing, about 1.5 hours of calls, & about 20 minutes of Stupid Zombies, it was down to 70%. After listening to mp3s for about 1 hour with the volume about 1 notch below full and Beats enabled it showed 67%. I left it on over night and this morning at 9:30am I turned on the screen and it showed the battery level to be at 65%.
The entire test was done on 3G (4G is around 200 miles away), so for light to moderate use I got 25 hours and used 35%. Even doubling the use and being moderate to heavy would put the use around 70% gone after 25 hours. Something else to consider is this is the first charge on the battery. Normally it takes a few charges to get it up to full capacity. So all in all it's looking pretty good.
There is more weight to the phone with the extended setup on, but it doesn't feel any heavier than the Thunderbolt. Plus, the hump acutally makes it more secure in the hand (an edge to grip) and also aids a bit in using it one handed. What's odd to me is that it's listed as 2750mAh. Putting my stock battery next to it, the ext. is twice as large (same footprint with twice the depth), so I don't understand why the mAh rating would'nt be double the stock at 3240mAh.
The only thing that's not good is the battery door. While I haven't seen any difference in signal reception, the fit of the door bothers me. When you snap on the stock battery door it snaps, somewhat loudly. It's on nice and tight and no wiggle or play. With the extended door, the snap sound is about 1/3 as loud and you don't really feel it snap into place. Although it doesn't seem to want to fall off now, the more it gets used it will probably lose it's holding power. On the top half of the phone the door seems to have some give at the seam and, while not much, is noticable. Also, when holding the phone in portrait mode, with the bottom side of the phone in the web of your hand between your thumb and finger, if you press your other fingers into the side of the hump on the door, there is some give and a bit of creaking. I can't say if they all have this, but mine definitely does. I may go to a store that has these extended batteries and see if others do it as well.
Overall, I am happy with it. If the fit was more like the stock door, I would have no reservations about it at all. I may just be a little too picky, but the door for my Incredible had to be replaced after it loosened up a bit and didn't hold as well. Perhaps I'll either modify a TPU case or get one of the ones for extended batteries from HTCPedia, and that should eliminate the possibility of the door coming off after time. For day to day I will probably use the stock one, and have this for when I know I'm not going to be near a charger for longer periods. That way I can either go slim when battery life isn't a concern or bulky when it is.

Well got my case in the mail today from htcpedia. I'm pretty happy with the look of it. My only small complaint is that I ordered this on the 11th, they shipped it on the 14th, it's time of arrive was supposed to be the 17th, but I didn't get it until today the 21st. A week seems a bit long even for standard shipping but I suppose that's more the post office then them so no worries. Looking at these pics I still find it hilarious that some people call this phone thick or a brick. It looks so small to me, but then again I'm 6'2" and 240lbs so maybe that has something to do with it. Ehhh.

FWIW, when I picked up my Rezound last night and added a line for my GF and got her an Inc2 (the red free one 
) I bought the vzw screen protectors for each (a lot better quality than I thought) a silicone case for her's and an otterbox defender case for mine (anybody that knows what hell my DX went through will know why haha!) and the store manager gave us 2 free car chargers as well.
I live close to Delaware so I make all my major purchases there to keep from paying sales tax. I walked out of the store with all this for only $317. Didn't think I did too bad. I would have liked to done the Amazon deal but no way am I going to get trapped into a 2 year contract for 2 phones without having the phones in my hand (and my girlfriend's).

What have your experiences been with wireless charging? I really like this concept but don't know what exactly I'll need to buy. I just ordered the Rezound after owning the DInc since release. I've always charged it via ac adapter over night and in the car and usually did ok with my battery levels. But since I work from home and if I have the phone sitting on the "pad" when I'm not using it, I'll do really well with battery life. Does this sound reasonable? Will the battery be harmed in any way by sitting on the pad regularly? Thanks!

Just an FYI for the few of you who (like me) want to have some sort of protection but hate having a case on the phone (I like my phone to be naked)...
Just for fun, I tried the Seidio Surface holster for my wife's Incredible 2 on for size, and the uncased Rezound fits perfectly in it. It's designed for an Incredible 2 with the Surface case, but the uncased Rezound is really close in size to an Incredible 2 with the Surface case.

We have received our batch of OEM wireless charging doors for HTC Rezound. It is not the same doors that came with your phone, it is even bigger in size. We will be writing an article about it and will compare it to the regular battery door on htcpedia.com in the next few days.

Does it still allow USB charging?
Which wireless pad(s) does it work with? Verizon only, PowerPad, etc?
The pic on Verizon's accessory page makes it look like the same as the extended battery door. A big hump, no branding, and the 2 little holes near the Beats logo are not there. If that is what's going on, I'd rather have an extended battery rather than wireless charging if I've gotta add the bulk.

An update on the extended battery:
Good news: It rocks- It's made this into a 2-day phone. You forget to charge overnight? No big deal. In meetings all day, so you're away from your desk charger? No big deal. When you combine the 2750 battery with the improved power management this phone brings relative to it's kin, this battery gives the phone some real legs. (For a smartphone.)
The flip side- You may not even need it. The Rezound is good enough with it's battery that it makes it all day pretty easily. Mine was getting low a little quicker than I wanted, then I realized it defaults to "performance" mode. Setting that to "normal" lets it get through the day with moderate use. I consider "getting through the day" to still be in yellow, and "not enough juice" if it's getting to "red" before I'm ready to charge it for the night. That's without any special measures to manage app closure, etc.- Just stock "normal" mode power management, and actually delaying the screen power-down a little longer than stock.
So, we'll see whether it becomes the "default" battery for me... I don't mind the size, but I think it's going to depend on how well supported it is with aftermarket cases. I'd like to see Seidio or Otterbox do a case and belt clip for the extended battery, but I'm not sure how likely that is...

It would be interesting to find out who makes ithe door as well as Verizon's charging pad. There is very limited info but it's an intriguing option if it's versatile and still allows USB charging. If I could add a wireless charging back and buy one wireless pad for my office, AND still be able to use my home dock and car mount, it would be ideal.

Another thing for anyone looking at the Otterbox Defender series, the beltclip doubles as a kickstand to view the phone in Landscape mode, granted the only time I used the kickstand on my Thunderbolt was when the phone would get so hot and I wanted more airflow to cool it off.

The only problem I had with these things are (while I'm not some huge hulk of a monster) these things barely fit around my upper arm and the velcro just barely holds so if I were doing any upper arm exercises, I could either cut off my circulation or the velcro would pop off. Maybe I need to start doing more cardio.....
FYI: Based on #3, I almost didn't buy the case but then I couldn't find another that fit the extend battery cover. While the statement about the case coming off at first bounce is most likely correct (I'm definitely not going to try it), it should be in the holster when not in use. I think that when the phone is holstered there is more than enough protection.
You definitely want to be gentle with the kick stand. While it does seem to be sturdy for its small construction, I would recommend being very precise when deploying and stowing the kickstand. I don't see it being used often but when needed it is nice to have.
At the end of the day keep in mind that it's only a $30 case/holster and if it lasts a year that's pretty good. and if it doesn't it's certainly not going to break the bank. I like it and recommend it to those going with the extended battery.
MHL Adapter from monoprice:
Works perfect, however I did notice that when the phone times out(screen black) even when playing music, the adapter stops working. So the screen must stay on. Maybe there is a setting for that.
I can confirm that the picture is 720p to my 52" TV even when playing 1080p content. So It would be better to load native 720p content. Being able to select to hide the onscreen controls is a nice touch.
I did have an issue with play one movie that had a high bit rate @720p. Maybe someone can expand on this. It was only one file so it could be a problem with that file. The movie that played well was the same format, MP4, as the former.
I have to say, this phone has exceeded my expectation thus far. I have only found one issue, the reception if cell calls is not as good as my iPhone 4. I'm working on a fix.
