well after reading this I had to try ... I'm UK and T-Mobile ... alas all I'm greeted with over wifi and data connection is "there are no updates available for your phone".

As I've been through several long waits for various phone updates, with people eager to get it and companies always delaying it, I can say I'm somewhat of an update veteran, and I can tell you that there is always someone making this kind of bad joke, playing with people's expectations and thinking he's funny. I am not angry as you're probably 12 years old or something, but I think T-mobile users have a word or two to tell you.

I still wait for this update but i think is just a bad joke like before.
Maybe the initial news were for EVO 4G and bloggers "retouch" the news for HTC Desire.
