Accessories Official Desire HD Accessory Thread

Would have got the Official pouch but i don't like how they have made gaps at the bottom compared to the original desire one. What's the point if the headphone and usb sockets are still covered? Really annoys me because it makes the thing look ugly and not classy.

Is there another option, something really similar maybe? I would have been very happy with the Desire pouch, just big enough to fit the HD but they went and changed it.

I just ordered this one: Case-Mate Barely There Case - HTC Desire HD - Black

My mom was visiting and had a Sprint EVO 4G with this type of case, and I really liked it. You can hardly notice that there is a case on it at all, so the size and beauty of the device is not affected. Yet it protects it all around (with the added screen protector of course). It also has a nice matt/kind of rubberized finish (but not rubbery like the silicone ones, which I hate because dust and dirt sticks to them and they start to look really bad after a while)

I had a hard time finding this one. It's not listed on the Case-Mate website and it doesn't come up in Google searches.

So, just in "case" anyone else is interested...

P.S. Also ordered the OEM HTC screen protector twin pack - and just discovered now that actually the case comes with a screen protector too...oh well, I'll have extra :-)

Update: Case was delivered this morning. It is PERFECT, I love it. Dust/dirt does not stick, but it still has a grippy, rubberized feel (not rubbery).

Fits like a glove and fully protects the phone, while still allowing easy access to volume, power buttons.

Bonus: also protects the protruding camera lens and included screen protector is a precise fit, easy to apply with no bubbles and doesn't degrade sensitivity or beauty of the display.

It's a bit pricey, but worth every penny (esp. for this monster phone :-)

I don't think it does obscure the camera though, if you look at it with a phone mounted in....

Stupid official pouch has become so loose that my phone can just fall out if i don't grip it. I have a habit of running around the house, got up to go upstairs and the phone flew out the pouch across the room. Luckily the room i was in had carpet and the phone fell almost like how a plane lands so no damage at all but bloody hell.

Have to be extra with it now. Not that i wasn't before which is why this is surprising.
 
Hi, Im a newbie here. Found this forum while searching for HTC accessories. Been looking for silicone/protective case for my desire HD. Unfortunately, cant find one. I'm based in Philippines, but HTC isn't popular here. can somebody help me purchase silicone case and screen protector?
 
Hi folks, just wondered did anyone answer Graham's q. - I am looking for a good value holder for my D HD that will clip in ok while still in its case ( casemate Barely There )

I'd like the proper HTC one but I hear it's a very snug fit so presumably no good with phone in case
