This thread is too big now. Once the phone is announced on the 12th, it's going to get even busier here. After the phone is released, there will be no reason to keep this thread open, but we're already planning a new thread to replace this one just prior to or right after the release. You guys can think about what topics you want to cover. I've already mentioned "tips and tricks" in a previous post, but ideally, I'd like to see something for everyone, beginners and seasoned users alike.Bill.... how would we close this, we should let it go on for awhile after the release. This is the Official EVO 4G forum and it's riddled with nothing but speculation and fluff with a hint of possible truth's.
Once the EVO does release and we can finally add official data you'll close it? I would have thought this would have been the spot where we could start to share issues and successes and what ever else we could... I'm just say'nIt's been a good community thus far.
. I'm still juggling between the Galaxy S and the evo. Guess I have to run down to a t mobile store and check out the hd2. Mostly just concerned over the size. Was hesitant over the S due to the lack of 4g.

I'm not normally adversarial, but I do stick by my beliefs unless someone can prove otherwise to me. I believe SP is a phone tester and that he has an EVO 4G demo, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has the fast track to Dan Hesse or can say for sure what the release date is. In actuality, he doesn't know and May 22nd is still the optimal release date. I'm not from Missouri, but I want you to "show me" why I'm wrong. As big as this thread has become, I have to say, it is doing a great job of remaining 99% polite and respectful of others, which is a rare thing in these forums.

That's the first time I heard the EVO 4G will come with Froyo, even though it's Android 2.1 (although modified). Looks like we're going to get our phones on the 22nd after all. Yeah!!
. The 12th is only 10 days away and I'm hoping that's when they give us a release date. As of right now everything is speculation IMO.
