Well when your EVO switches between apps 2x as fast as his vzw iPhone and he can't video chat unless he is in a wifi hotspot or he convinces you to allow him to use your EVO as his wifi hotspot just tell him he needs to get a real phone with a cheaper plan..

Though, I would love to see Sprint at least profitable again... :)

I've been a Sprint customer for a decade now, and have always had a great experience with my service and pricing. Also, customer service seems to be really improved in the last year or so.

I really hope Sprint gets some better biz and press.

Absolutely agree. I'm sure the combination of 4G and the EVO will be the things to do it as well.

The only way we sprint can beat or come close to apple numbers is if they use us as buyers, to spread the word. Apple has an advantage not everyone with an Icrap is on att, a lot are ported to other GSM carriers. So the number are inflated. If EVO was able to be ported to another carrier it would wipe apple with it's bottom. But we have to be the door to door sales man for this phone, they bring out the Icrap we bring out the EVO an have a show down. Any thing U can do I can do 10 time better. And I can make your phone faster while I am on my phone HA. Let go EVO. Can I get a big ole, E-V-O on three...One....Two....Three...

He doesn't care about any of that. He's got more money than he knows what do with. He likes it for the business aspect.

I've tried to convert him more than once.
He is a reasonable man. I just need to counter everything he likes, in the iPhone, with the same aspect in an Android phone.
 
I'm not going to go over why i am legit again ok? I can;t believe this is even a question right now. Anyone here will stand up for me. i have provided all of the info weeks before anything leaked, just like the release date of the phone. I was the first one to say modded 2.1 as far back as March specifying that it would ahve to be modded to to the WiMAX connection. What came out in the next few days? OHHH something about how it will have to be modded because android 2.1 does not recognize WiMAX. All these periodicals watch this thread you know. They see the info thrown around and they know when to bite.

Ah. Like the Incredible, which has the same firmware? Is that also hiding a secret 4G radio, just like the Pre and god knows how many other phones, regardless of the fact that it's illegal to not disclose the radios used in the product to the FCC?

There's absolutely NO reason to lock this thread. Nobody is making personal attacks, and the conversation has been (and is) about the EVO...hell, we're even speculating about how well it will sell!
 
I think I'm going crazy...I've watched the youtube videos on the evo at least a dozen times each, but I continue to watch them just to remind myself that the evo does exist...lol. Well, it's only 4 more days until a veritable cornucopia of information will be available.

I don't! I want it to be successful enough to get support from the android market and third party accessory providers, but not so popular that everybody has one. I don't want the same phone as everybody else! I want to be different! (well, not different from you guys, I guess).

Voice and data, video chat, and some cool software..

Nothing that we don't know or have heard here. But for the rest of the world it will be an oohh and ahhh moment
