and the picture quality is amazing. you have to remember, that video is from the PHONE. NOT the tv. amazing achievment by htc.

I know that is why i put it in here cause if I put it over there, i will be lynched. Doubt any will come over here. But if any do come here and see this, just want to I'm joking. :D

Yeah theres alot of bleeding going on over there.

If that "phantom" phone appears the hype could be its downfall in the end. I really dont see much except internal memory upgrade. Its really a verizon carrier issue.

about 99% doubtful. an insider tells us that this is most likely the date that sprint will release more info like pricing and the actualy release date.

Oh, I was hoping you were going to cheer them up some more. :p

Edit: In all fairness, if the Incredible had been announced at CTIA and there wasn't anything said about the Supersonic, I would have been down in the dumps too.

I try, but man can they talk. By the time I make a post or quote, 10 pages passes by. By then my post is basically moot. So why bother. Plus I have to look around at other threads to see if anything is out of the ordinary. Thats just on AF, I have two others which i can't neglect either.
Lucky for me I can do this at work.

anyway, enough talk about me and the Phantom, going back to the EVO, I think tis big meeting with Sprint is basically the stock option for employees. I am hoping it would include info on the EVO, its plans etc but the Wall Street journal like Supersonical is usually on the money when it comes to insider information. lol

LMAO :D I know exactly what you mean. I posted there a few times, but they were never acknowledged, because 25 other posts already followed mine.

Edit: What's your take on the April 16th thing? Do you think we'll learn more about the EVO that day?

Not to be outdone, Verizon also has an internal name for the Incredible. The Phantom.
How appropriate.

lol

Usually I don't quote myself, but its too good to pass up.

TS out (suppressing my evil side)

^LOL^ OUCH! I bet the folks at the Incredible side would appreciate that. Oh speaking of shares...I just bought 100 shares of Sprint stock. How cheap! For about $4 each. Even if it went to $6 I would be happy LOL

Don't know if this was posted here. Would help in speeding up 4G since Wal-marts are everywhere.

Wireless carrier Sprint is rumored to be in talks with discount chain retailer Walmart to install WiMax 4G towers at the retailer's store locations to bring the next-generation mobile broadband technology to customers. Sprint has already begun its 4G roll-out ahead of rivals Verizon Wireless and AT&T and the latest move could add more 4G footprint, increasing its WiMax coverage map.

Walmart to Serve Sprint WiMax

Yeah that's been discussed I believe earlier in this thread or some other one already. If you check the date of the article, this was back in January around the time of CES. I don't think anything really materialized after this rumor. Billsmed might have more information

Walmart to Serve Sprint WiMax
Yeah, see that article is from January. I really hope it's true, but I haven't seen anything written about it in the past couple of months.

lol thats funny. i just got back from walmart. and while we were pulling in i was talking to my mom about how they were thinking about putting the towers on all walmarts.

Here's a clarification (somewhat) on the discussion we had yesterday about simultaneous voice and data:

Sprint clarifies voice-data on Evo 4G, says WiMax still being tested

The Evo 4G will do voice calls at the same time if you're connected over WiFi [or 4G, I imagine] and not when you're connected over EV-DO (3G).

hey guys it wjackson drom Sprint stuff, from what I've heard you should know about me.

First post over here in this thread though thanks to Bill informing me about it =]

The phone will be able to use voice and data with a 4G connection. this is something i said sprint was testing a while back and it looks as if they still are now. This would make sense because the constant 4G connection would be used for data while the cdma connection for voice. Nothing confirmed i just know for a fact sprint has tested it and they are very interested in getting it to work

keep you posted, Jackson

thanks for clearing it up. we just have to remember that sprint is still in the testing phase. hopefully they have it all ready for release :)
