LOL that's funny!!! Guess we need some humor after all the bad news I've delivered today. But, gosh, you guys are hurting my feelings!!
Edit: I take a lot of time and pride in my posts making sure the spelling, punctuation, grammar are as good as I can get it, and that's what makes this funny. I appreciate being ribbed for suggesting a later release date, but my feelings are still hurt, *sob*

Well people here said they would be interested in me doing an overview/review once I get mine.
The people over there have all they already need, and I don't feel the need to add something there that will just get overlooked by the 50+ new threads every hour.
I will post a thread and if people are interested in checking it out, they can. But I won't post anything in this thread regarding it.
I'm only doing it because there will be many common things between the Incredible and the EVO i.e software, camera etc.

Yeah, that would be good. Anything regarding that other phone should probably go into a different thread. I would like this to continue to be the EVO 4G thread and for the most part everyone has been doing a good job of that.

I really want a May release but these reps usually know nothing! I hope he is right though. I was wondering since the Evo seems to be tied in with Disney and the Prince of Persia movie wouldn't it be smart to release the phone on or before the movie release? The Prince of Persia comes out May 28th by the way,

I think the up and coming cities for 4g roll out is grossly understated.
I think they are more areas that 4g service will be available in sooner than later..
I think Sprint is down playing its wimax roll out.. But that is a good thing to under promise and over deliver.

The people who think the Evo is a beefier Incredible are flat out wrong. The Incredible is the HTC Desire (which to this point is Europe only) that was slightly retooled with a bigger camera and slightly bigger memory. The Evo if anything is more closely tied to the HD2, but even then that's more because of screen size than anything else. From what I've read though the Evo/Supersonic has been in the works since 2008, so its not as easy as just slapping the HD'2 screen into an Incredible like some people are insinuating.

I think so too. I believe they're working feverishly to have as much WiMAX coverage as possible before the EVO 4G is released. That's another reason I think the phone may be released later than sooner.

I agree. When the EVO is released, the Incredible won't even come close. My guess is a lot of people buying that phone will be switching to the Sprint for their WiMAX service and the EVO 4G. In fact, I think Sprint will be getting a lot of their customers back.

Bill know disrespect. But I am not pushing for a "May" release. I was telling everyone what the sprint manager told me at the sprint store yesterday. It would be nice for a May release,but like you I also want all the bugs and kinks worked out before getting the evo

Hey community. I was just told that ajac, our wonderful poster over here has been spreading some not so nice rumors about me. Apparently i google everything and just tell you. I wish google worked like that, u know, it having information on the internet before it exists. Someone should make a search engine like that, call it time geenie, it will make you lots of money.
Also, ajac, there are two SPECIFIC dates. That right. I;m NOT saying that Sprint will release the phone on both either. I said bestbuy will release on one and Sprint on the otehr, hence 2 SEPERATE release dates. You catch my drift? If you want the sprint one its a solid June 13th, as of now, if nothing else sets back. Originally the phone was supposed to be late May, but May is not even in the equation. So as you say its May, you are wrong.
Self Praise has said i am valid. He and I have talked on our own and he will back me on what i say as i will back him. He works with early prototypes and is contract bound to not say certain things. I am NOT. My good buddy works there and i spread the stuff SP can't. If you have a problem with what i say, or something is wrong (so far i have been right on and said everything before google has come out with it...) then don;t listen and comment about it here or on other sites.
I am here for you community and i give you REal HARD info on what you can't google. I'm not a fricken search engine, I'm a rumor busting fact making machine.

"on the android forums but the posts are gone.. and wjackson still hasnt had a single correct predicition. April 16th false.. and now he is making sure he doesnt say much else he has 2 dates going 6th and 13th.. funny thing about those dates are their both sundays... sprint most likely will launch on a saturday like the pre last year. and now rumors are pointing to a may release... so we shall see if he turns out to be wrong yet again I plan on posting on the android forums that he is a fraud and always has been. His info he gets is from googlign variouos websties."
