Same here. Looks like they've been hacked.

And Jackson wasn't talking about the colors black and white, he meant that the print was in "black and white" on the invite about the EVO.
 
Changing the subject. Is the screen glass or not? I went to the Verizon store today to check out the Incredible......really cool phone. Operation is so smooth & everthing works so quickly. Really like the on screen keyboard. Believe it is better than the iphone or any other that I have tried. The screen is great but feels like plastic. My son has an iphone and this does not feel like that. Question is does anyone know for sure whether the screen is glass or not? I own a Pre now & has a ghost armor screen coating over the screen. Would really like not having to do that on the EVO.....thanks

I use the Boxwave screen protector on my Instinct ... it's smooth as a babies butt. I haven't checked if they're doing one for the EVO but I'm sure they will. Boxwave.com.

Why doesn't somebody hack Sprint's system and release the Evo?!?!?! By the way if someone on this thread does it feel free to send me a free one. :)
 
Get your EVO HDMI cable - available 2 days ago :)

Hey guys just got an email update from a buddy regarding suppliers for the type-D HDMI cable. I know you guys are waiting for monoprice but here's the 6.56' (78.72") cable for our EVO. I'm not sure if Sprint will be providing these in the box for us but here you go:

i think i heard somewhere that it is glass. im not 100% sure though.

well, im out everyone. 8 more days..
 
I don't know if this is worth mentioning or not, but I'm all for clues and signs the Evo is just around the corner. I was checking out Best Buy's weekly ad and noticed that the HTC Hero's has been dropped down to $50! However on Sprint.com it's still selling for $100 even AFTER the mail-in-rebate. So just curious if BB might be trying to clear out their inventory somewhat! Just my thoughts and speculation, I just want this phone so BAD :D

I think it's glass, as far as the Incredible screen I've seen a few pictures of Incredibles that have shattered screens from very short falls so they must be glass I would guess. I wish they'd use gorilla glass :(
 
Okay, this may well be my last post before my trip. If I get internet access at the airports or while in Paris, I may check in (in a member roll only) to see any news etc, but I doubt it with out a cell with tethering.

Please,

I want to come back seeing this place in tact and not closed. Lets be a shiny example.

This may seem like a dumb question, but for all those screen protectors out there, do some actually protect pretty well against falls? I've seen a ton of scratching tests, but nothing indicating any screen protector being excellent for falls or whatnot.

nah, these are just for scratches and things like that. I imagine the only "drop protection" these can provide are similar to if you take a bat to a windshield...it shatters but the film holds it together so shards don't fly everywhere. For drop protection, you want a case for the body.
