Trident, I am all about keeping things sane here. I enjoy the forum when there is activity. Doesn't always have to be "on topic" but it does need to be somewhere in the realm of adult behavior. I'm with you trident, you, as the mod, have the last word. That doesn't mean we get to second guess you. you just keep doing what it is you do.

hm.. last night was fun and interesting.
as a new member, i did 70 post from yesterday afternoon since rebella's first post to now. i'm very much love the forum. can we just get back to what we initially loved? the discussion of evo?

On a brighter note....won't it be cool when this community comes together around the ACTUAL phone! Yeah....we can post pics, and tips and really get the most out of this phone. It's all gonna be new to me! I'm looking forward to finding the best apps for bar code scanning, to do lists, music files, and such. I'm especially looking forward to navigation....and using handy google results....like gps aided restaurant apps and things I don't even know about yet! And the most wonderful and remarkable discoveries about this phone are just around the corner!

honestly, i wish i had the 8mp camera today too. some idiot decided to throw fireworks @ my school and lit up 5 mins during daylight. bombsquad came in too

Dude...or Dudette...don't ask me for help...you'll be backing up if you do that! LOL I own a 3.5 year old Katana! My poor wife has been asking me for an iPhone for over a year! I refuse to do business with AT&T based on a past experience....so here we are now....and she and I are both ready. I told her recently....the wait is gonna be SO worth it. Okay...nighty night!

I have a katana and krazr laying around somewhere.. a Samsung Ace somewhere as well... I am stuck in Samsung hell... the ONLY reason I knew about this phone was the ad I got on sprint when I paid my bill last month

before i think capacitive touch panel was cool since apple iphone was the only one that had it. now it's all over the place and multitouch is in every device. apple is nothign special now, other than the million of apps. but andriod will sooner or later surpass that. i wish i can get my evo and make those apple lovers shove their phone up their ass. LOL

I have another questions...I bought 2 pre's when they came out and I was wondering why only one line gets a $150 upgrade and the other line gets $75 upgrade? My fiancee really wants the phone but if she doesn't get the same discount as me she doesn't want to get it.:/

checkt he date on ur account and it should say the day ur eligible. if you bought and activate both on the same day, something must be wrong

My guess is the main phone (yours) is a premier membership and hers is not. Premier can upgrade every year.. only one person can have it on the family plan.
