I had an overdrive and eprp plan I was given a choice when I signed up the overdrive one plan was 5gb 3G data the other was the same 5gb and unl 4g data 2 diff plans 2 diff codes in the system..SAME PRICE... If i was a betting man thats whats gonna happen with the evo they're gonna introduce new everything plans including 4g data.. For the same price only diff is it will be unl data on 4g
what makes no sense to you? I just am telling you we started a training today. I was told it would start on the17th but it started today. What else is not making sense to you.

now, don't take me 100% on this. i was only told this by my friend @ the mobile department of BestBuy. I hope his district manager knows what's he talking abut. you know, some managers are bogus and i have no clue how they got the position
LOL...Don't worry. I love going into Best Buy to browse anyway and it's on my way home from work. If they don't have the pre-order on Thursday, I won't go onto the forums biting your head off or calling you a liar. That's not my style and I don't think it does any good for anybody to do that type of crap!
Either way, I appreciate the info. If I get to pre-order Thursday, fantastic. If I have to wait, so be it (no big deal).
Quick off topic question...
I see everyone throwing around SERO and other terms about special plans...
I get a 23% discount on my monthly bill for working where i work...does that have a term to it or is that just "employee prices for a certain company?"
also, will i have any issues buying the phone from best buy because of this?
thanks and sorry its an off topic question
If you do a family plan it comes out cheaper then having 2 Sero plans if you can get the discount and also I believe the Sero plans don't include GPS and the Any Mobile Any time plan.
I probably won't last much longer as well..
Speculation is one thing, but when someone post something as fact, they need to be able to back it up..
There is a lot of B.S. info posted here and to much leeway given to those that post it..
Either you are speculating or you have factual information with proof and can back it up..
When I post facts I say it is fact and I am willing and can back it up that info..
When I speculate I speculate because I can't back it up with info or don't want to back it up and get my sources in trouble..
You can't have it both ways.,.
can i just buy the phone and leave and activate it at home? or do i need to tolerate dealing with a retail employee longer?

Where in norcal? Emeryville? Hmm, maybe I should stop by tomorrow and see if they say anything.nope you cannot sign up for EPRP @ bestbuy. however you can call in to sprint and ask to swap ur Sero to EPRP. they may ask for the employee email and code to verify you were a referral. this shouldn't be a problem. but it can't be done @ retail stores
I duno, but this is a norcal store

Once converted, check your online account to make sure it's the right one. then check if your upgrade eligibility is available. Go to bestbuy and preorder. they will automatically use the upgrade eligibility on your account to credit you and give you the credit for the MIR

nope, they will activate on the spot for you. they will power on the fone too
Yup, I'm eligible. The only thing is that I can't switch plans through that site without picking up a phone, and obviously the EVO isn't listed there.
So, going off of a very helpful PM sent my way, I'm going to hop onto Sprint chat and ask them what they'll do for me to convert to an EPRP plan and specify that I don't want a new phone yet.
Regardless, I get that I have to have the plan before hitting up BB. Thanks for the info!
can't i just hand them my credit card and tell them to leave the phone in the box and i'll activate it myself? i hate shopping. i want to get in and out.
yes all information here is caveat emptor. but no more repetitive witch hunts please.
