These are some sweet batteries, but I find the S4 to get good battery life. I'll still look for an extended one.

While the battery life on most smartphones is pretty poor, rather than have a fat battery and ugly cover, I just carry a spare charged battery. I need to use it about once a week.
Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to do that instead of using an extended battery?
Just buy a spare battery and change batteries if you run out. That's what I did with my S2 and that approach served me well for two years.

I didn't bother. What I did was to charge the phone with the spare battery as soon as I got home and then swapped the batteries back before bed so the original battery would be fully charged by morning.Did you buy a spare battery charger,or did u just put the batter in the phone and charge it?
I'm ordering an external battery pack.
Trent Battery Pack
Seems to me to be the best of both worlds. Phone stays slim, I can use conventional cases, and have more juice than an extended battery. I can also offer a bit of charge to others in a pinch. Just connect it once or twice during the day when not using the phone. They come in different capacities, some have two USB ports and can be used for both my phone and tablet.
I was able to get the Mungen (SP) Battery for my S3 that served me well. I was hoping Mugen or someone else will come out with one where I don't have to swap the covers or constantly change batteries. My Mugen battery gets me about 2 1/2 days verses barely 2 days with the original S3 battery. Its a small difference but it works for me.
At least for me with the S3, I felt it fit better in my hand with the thicker form factor an extended battery provides.
Don't do it... but would like a extended battery.. im aware there will be lots of fakes flooding the market at somepoint so can anyone point me in the direction of a reputable online based seller?
.We need more power!!!
I found this 3,500 mAh battery: Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S 4G (i9000) 3500 mAh Extended Life Battery - T-Mobile
I think something better may be out there. Consider this 7,000 mAh battery for the SIII: This 7000mAh Galaxy S III Battery Will Power your Phone Till The Cows Come Home, And It's Only $34
Does anyone have the skinny on extended batteries and cases to protect the phones with extended batteries?
Anyone have experience with anker batteries? I bought one recently but haven't been able to use it since my S4 doesn't come in until Wednesday from Verizon

The batteries touting much higher mah in the same size usually are no better than stock battery out worse. If the battery could last that long, Samsung would have probably made the battery even thinner.
in same size without needing an extended back cover?I beg to differ. My Mugen battery for my s3 added about 1/2 to 3/4's of a day to my usage life.
