I went to the Colonies store, they had both in stock. i got it when I went to pick up my Incredible at 8AM this morning before class. =P
Awww yesss that's where I waited in line to pick up my storm first day it debuted (huge regret)...surprised I haven't thrown it out my window yet. I will have to swing by there and pick up a black case...looks very nice in the pics you uploaded.

They actually arn't too bad there. But I recommend you go there and try the cases on to see what you like best. I just always like the silicon cases. i've had one silicon case protect my iPod for around 3 years on. Sucker isn't even scratched, and i've dropped it numerous times.

Yep, defiantly cant go wrong with silicon. I wonder if they will release some new colors anytime soon...And true, that store is not that bad...especially compared to the Montclair location

Got mine today too - I like the texture of it too - very soft and smooth feeling texture.

It looks like yours is actually hinged together on one side. Is that how it is? mine is two separate pieces and they do not seem to fit together as well as I wish they would.

Just look at this sexy beast!

This is the VZW6300COVRED available at your local VZW store. $19.99 but when I bought it with the screen protectors they sold if for $15.

I didn't like how light the phone felt originally, the case adds some more weight and it feels more solid now.

You should like the way it feels after the OEM extended battery comes out and is installed in the inc

I also prefer silicone cases. Are there any brand name companies that make well-regarded silicone cases? I could get the Verizon one but wondering if there is a better one out there. It seems that all the respected companies (Steinheil, Otterbox, Seidio, etc) don't make silicone cases.

Otterbox makes combination cases, usually a silicon interior with a hardened exterior.

Sometimes their cheaper ones are just reinforced silicon, designed for impact.

But as of yet, I haven't seen any cases besides the one at the Verizon store.

See, I like that. The body glove case I have now is too raised on the edges...makes using the optical trackpad virtually impossible. I think I'm going to do an exchange for the gradient case...or maybe some other one if I find another I like.

(don't mind the dirty phone :o)

That would just be too bulky for me. And it doesn't show off the wonderful stylings of the incredible. In my experience, Body Glove cases are just too bulky and awkward, making me more prone to drop the phone...

I ended up getting this case. Hopefully Seidio or Otterbox comes out with a case soon so i can return this one.

I had an otterbox commuter case on my moto droid and loved it

I WOULD NOT BUY FROM STEALTH GUARDS

I bought screen and full body protectors from them online. Entire thing was very sketchy. I got my stuff in the mall today and appears to be nothing more than clear 3M tape, that I don't think I'm going to put anywhere near my Incredible.

Lame as hell.

Anyone ever used these before? For full disclosure, I've never used any type of plastic shield thing, to maybe this is standard. But it's really sticky and they want me to soak it in water...no thanks.

I got the Verizon shell/case combo. Isnt too bad. No outter box but I like that the phone faces inward. So my screen is more protected.

In reference to the red snap on case shown above, how hard would it have been to provide a simple black version of this? I think I would get sick of the gradient case, although it does look great. No offense, but that body glove case is GIGANTIC!

So come on Seido and Case Mate.....I mean the phone has been out how long now and you still haven't provided us with cases yet?:D

+1

i bought the red gradient case on tuesday and it looks far better than the verizon site shows.the red is a darker red and hours really well the black. The downside is the sides of the case do not snap together flush. If I press against the sides they give, it just doesn't feel solid. Going to try to get a replacement. The color looks great though.

Further elaboration...there is no mention of them anywhere on the internet other than their website, which makes me question whether or not their products are safe for my device, or even protect anything. The instructions consist of one 1/2 sheet of paper and contain errors. The "full body" protection is like 7 pieces that I'll never be able to align, they are run out of a post office box, neither my order conformation email OR shipping materials says their name anywhere...I dunno. Makes me a little uncomfortable.

If someone has used this brand before I'd appreciate a PM or something.

Same opinion on all accounts. Looks fantastic, but not flush on the sides. I wish they would make one that does.
