I received the exact same reply to my request. I think they have noticed us. :D

I got that same reply even a week before it was released so I'm not sure how true it is but hey always can hope for it huh

Just sent them another request as well. One thing that I got to reply back to them and everyone should as well is that they should include a model for the extended battery as well as many people will be getting with the new door possibly.

Do you have a link to where you bought the sleeve?

You can't buy it online, not even through HTC's own accessory site. You gotta call HTC's accessory line. I just googled "Nexus One Sleeve" and found various info on it, including in these forums, that basically all said what this thread says in the first post.

Confirmed: HTC selling/giving away stock Nexus One accessories (Android sleeve?) - xda-developers

I kinda tried to tell them I've got an Incredible that I just bought, to see if they might just send me a free one, but they didn't. I guess I could have tried calling back a million times until I got the right person. I got transferred twice before I got the guy who told me they do sell it, and it would be 14.99. Gave him my info, and that was it.

See, I like that. The body glove case I have now is too raised on the edges...makes using the optical trackpad virtually impossible. I think I'm going to do an exchange for the gradient case...or maybe some other one if I find another I like.

(don't mind the dirty phone :o)

Are you having any problems with your body glove case popping up at the bottom corner? I was gonna buy one today but the two cases that the VW store had that they put on the phone was popping up at the corner.

Thanks for that. I wonder if it'll fit w/ the High Gloss Silicon case I picked up yesterday? Simply because I LOVE this case. In fact, I don't particularly care for cases and have actually never used one before. But this feels like a harder, much more rigid silicon...if you wanna call it that. It's not at all flimsy and when placed on the phone, gives it a solid feel. I much prefer it w/ case on, then off. It feels more substantial in your hand.

I see the gradient case has a cut out for the volume up/down buttons, but the silicon has little bumpers that make changing the volume even easier since it's on the same plane as the case. I'd imagine the same can be said for the power button. My only beef's that they didn't widen the headphone port enough, but that's easily remedied w/ a drill. :D

To answer a couple questions, the case lifts up off the glass/plastic screen in the front a mm or 2. This means you can put it face down and not worry about the front of the phone making direct contact w/ any surfaces. It definitely helps to put my mind at ease. When I flip it over, it DOES NOT feel like it's resting on the camera, but I can't be sure. It's still REALLY close, but like I said, it feels less "scary" putting it down. I also have less qualms about setting it down anywhere because of the extra padding/protection. Overall, I would rank this a fine, fine piece of kit.

EDIT: Case is smooth and glossy, so it does slide a bit. But the extra girth around the phone seems to be a good tradeoff. I would say, you have the same chance of dropping w/ or wo/. Of course, you know have a fat piece of rubber on there, so won't bust into 5 pieces if you toss it. :D

Here's a few pics...

I've got the same case. I have not noticed any problems of this case popping at all. If anything its a pain to get off, but it just takes a few minutes of thinking and its easy to do every time now.

I enjoy the case. It adds a sense of weight and bulk that is not there when the phone is alone. Its not too much of either though and it feels like I could drop it alot and it would be fine, snug fit and lots of protection.

I would recommend it to those who are looking for protection and dont mind a little added weight and bulk. It sill slides in and out of my pocket great and the grip on the outside is perfect.

Really thinking about picking up the silicone high gloss case, however, I'm going to wait until the extended battery come out to see if it'll fit.

What will you use?

The only experience I have is with the InvisibleShield. Seems to work ok----but I may end up going for a case if I can find something form fitting/slim.
Hey friend,i had the same demand with u,i also wanna a thin, lightweight and strong case to fit my phone.I got the right one when one friend of mine recommended me a amazing one. It's a aluminum case, really awfully light but solid protective one with a glossy finish.I've nerver used the metal kind before, but this Al protection is bringing me more and bigger surprise.lol...i chose a solid silver one, share with u in here for ur referencePDair Aluminum Metal Case for T-Mobile HTC HD2 - Open Screen Design (Silver) by PDair - PDair.com

I also prefer silicone cases. Are there any brand name companies that make well-regarded silicone cases? I could get the Verizon one but wondering if there is a better one out there. It seems that all the respected companies (Steinheil, Otterbox, Seidio, etc) don't make silicone cases.

i have used some higher end silicone cases in the past...iskin for my storm to name one. i'm not a big fan of verizon accessories but the gel case they are selling for the incredible is great...and 16 bucks is hard to beat.

ok a couple points:

the high gloss flexible case from Verizon fits the phone very well and looks really nice in my opinion. i will be using it until Seidio gets their cases out.

those bodyglove cases aren't my favorite. i had one for my G1 and i thought it was way too bulky (G1 is pretty bulky by itself). also, the rubberized coating started to wear away pretty quickly. it's a bit too 'rugged' looking for me as well.

invisible shields (zagg) are too sticky for a touch screen for me. my fingers would hit invisible speed bumps all the time when trying to use the phone. they also may be really hard to penetrate, but i find that they scratch really easily. because of the thickness of the material, these scratches are highly visible and quite annoying. also because of the thickness the edges can start coming up and catch tons of dirt/dust.

i'm using the G1 slipcase to shield my phone in my pocket while I wait for the SGP anti-glare protectors. I think I might try to get the Nexus One case however.

I had a zagg full body shield for my omnia and the thing was a piece of crap. It eventually started peeling around the edges and i had to take the whole thing off

The best screen protector ive ever had came with my otterbox case i had on my droid. you couldnt even tell it was on

I currently have the black silicone case for the Incredible and a VZW screen protector. I want to keep the silicone case on, but I need something like a pouch, something somewhat waterproof, that fully encloses the phone.

When I had my LG Dare, I just used a Sony Point & Shoot Camera case that I found at Wallyworld that just zipped up. I was just wondering if there is anything better, or if anyone found a "camera" case that fits the Incredible nicely and isn't to bulky.

Colchicine:
When I was at the VZW store, they recommended the case/holster combo. From their website, I didn't realize the phone mounted screen in. It felt pretty durable so I went ahead and bought one. My only concern is that the camera lens is still exposed. With the BodyGlove, the lens is recessed in more, providing a little extra protection.

NewPepper:
How durable are the red/black shell cases? Does it protect the phone well? Which pouch did you end up getting and how's the fit? I tried the universal BodyGlove PDA pouch with the BodyGlove case and it was too short on both sides by an 1/8 of an inch.

Thanks.

no offense but -

carrying phone on belt = douche.

i'm telling you this for your own good because others won't. just put the damn thing in your pocket. get the gradient case if you have to.

this is the first small step in your transformation.

good luck.
You are a moron. This is according to whom, you and your 15 year-old friends? But of course, I'd value no one else's opinion more! Seriously, if he feels that getting a belt holster for the phone would be more practical and convenient for him don't bash his decision, and don't even post unless you're going to help.

Hi, everyone!

I have my DI in a Body Glove that I purchased from Verizon. I really like the protection the Body Glove provides, especially for the camera lense. However, I have not been able to find a pouch/carrying case that will hold the phone. Everything I've looked at is not long enough.

Can someone recommend a case or cases that are big enough to hold it? I need something I can attach to my belt and it should be well padded.

Thanks for any and all help!
Harlock

I bought the BG case with belt clip from VZW. When I ordered the phone I picked up the car charger/leather pouch combo since it was on sale. I was hoping to maybe use the BG case with the leather pouch, but it will not fit in the pouch well. I currently just use the BG case with the belt clip and phone facing outward and just try to be careful. My look term plan is to get a Seidio Innocase with spring clip when they come out in a few weeks. I'm with you... I like the BG cases thickness especially with regard to the camera lense.

I got the body glove case and it fits well and looks good and seems to be durable. My issue is I have bigger fingers and I can't type well now because of the edge of the case being to high from the face of the phone. Has anyone else had this issue. I know it is designed that way for protection but I need to be able to type. Is this an issue on the Gradient case? I might try that one next.

Having the same problem here. Pressing any buttons on the sides of the screen (backspace, enter, etc) are a bit harder now. I anticipate that I will get used to it though, I really like the BG case and it will hold me over until Otterbox releases one of theirs

I've been reading these forums religiously for the past 3 days and this morning I read somewhere about a Verizon discount of 25% if you get 3 or more items (I want to silicone cases and a pack of screen shields). Of course this forum is one big blur in my brain and I can't remember which thread I saw it in. Anybody know more about this?

I went to 2 Verizon stores looking for the black silicone case today, but neither had one. They had plenty of the red, but I didn't like it because it wasn't a true red.. had a pink hue to it. They also had plenty of the hard snap on cases in lots of different colors, but I really just wanted the black one. Anyway, they did have the black to red gradient one, so I bought that to hold me over till I can get one I like better. Well, after it was put on.. WOW. I love it! It is very nice, very sleek. I might just keep this one on there and not bother looking for something else.

I really wish they would have made a Car Dock that fits the phone w/ a case on. :(
Where did you hear it wouldn't? The one VZW is coming out with is adjustable to fit different thickness. There's also a bunch of 3rd party mounts that are made to hold lots of different sizes. Maybe we can get confirmation on the VZW one working with a case when they are actually available.

battery the first thing i will get, 1300 mah with 146 hours standby time is ridicolous.

Thats over 6 days of standby time. You mean to tell me you need more? How long do you want to go between charges? Is 3 weeks to a month enough for you? LOL honestly folks, common sense.

Do you know when the dock will be available?
