My fact for the oversized comment was posted as a picture of the gap in one of the other threads.
I never disputed the "fact" that it may be oversized. I actually agree with you. However, others say it fits fine. Point is, we need more evidence.
My fact for it being underpowered are that it's rated at 1750. Is it really 1750 in that size. Me thinks no based on what I saw when using the battery extensively. Reading comments from others stating there is no way to fit 1750 in the same size as a 1300.
None of those are facts. They're your opinions based on your biases and anecdotal evidence (which, of course, is not really evidence at all).
My fact for it being overpriced are directly related to the 2 above statements
Again, no facts just opinions.

I'm on your side. Really, I am. But you need to learn the difference between facts and opinions.

LOL, this cracks me up. Yes, the batteries drain fast so the answer is to get a couple of spares and and a wall charger. They can be had on Ebay for $15 for 2 batteries (1500 mah) and the charger. I did this for my bb Tour. This is the funny part:

When you replace the battery on the Inc, it boots up in about a minute and is fully functional. My bb Tour took no less than 4 minutes to boot up. That is not an exageration. Coming from the Tour, changing the battery on the Inc is no hassle at all.

The incredible's battery cover is cheaply designed and a pain to remove. I imagine if you don't use extreme care each time you will wear out or break the plastic and have to get a new one. You can't just pop in a new battery willy nilly unfortunately.
A pain to remove? How hard is it to just put your fingernail under the bottom opening and pop out the sides? The only way i see it breaking is by using lots of pressure which is not needed. I never open my battery cover either, only time i did was to install an 8gb SD, been closed ever since. Don't see anyone else taking it out either since you can move stuff thru your SD by using a simple micro usb cable which is becoming a comon cable too.

+1, but some people will just complain about anything and everything.:D

I don't know if this will help stop the bickering but I though I would share my experience with the Seidio 1750 mAh battery. There isn't much difference in size. The battery cover fits perfectly on my dinc with the Seidio battery installed. I can't find any micro-gaps between the cover and the phone.

Now for performance. With the stock battery I could barely go a full day with moderate use before I had to recharge the battery. My normal routine is to take the phone off the charger at 7am. With the stock battery I had to put it back on the charger by 9pm.

2 days ago I installed the Seidio 1750 mAh battery. I charged it with the phone off 2 nights ago. Took it off the charger yesterday morning and haven't charged it since. I did turn the phone off at about 10pm last night and turned it on again this morning at 7. Usage was moderate as far as I know (I have no idea how long my son played games on it when he found it). Currently it is at 26% battery. It's currently 1:30pm, so that's 21.5 hours of moderate use. Much better than the 14 hours on the original battery before I got the recharge warning.

Is this battery all it says it is? I don't know, but it's definitely better than the stock battery.

my seidio 1750 has been running like a champ for the last 2 days.

From my unscientific seat "o" my pants testing, its definitely worth the $40...

And i have yet to get it to its potential, ie 5-6 charges before its at it's optimum.

on a side note, i only get one bar at home and at school, averaging about -98 to -101 .

It seems like it crushes my battery life because its always looking and dropping and looking and dropping and looking and dropping.

Did i mention that its always looking and dropping and loooking and dropping ?

;)

I ordered directly from Seidio as well. In stock and shipped same day. I should have it tomorrow. I used the DNS10 coupon code to get 10% off of entire order. I went ahead and ordered car charger and non-glare screen protectors.

Did you check what "time since unplugged" reads?

Uptime is only valid if you restarted your phone immediately after taking it off the charger.

Wow these are amazing results. The difference I'm seeing from extended results is a lower Android % use. How do I lower this number?

For me 9 hours since unplugged, 70% battery left. Doing *my* daily routine which doesn't include sitting in my pocket for 9 hours. It will take me through the day like my old BB Curve did. I'm satisfied. I charge everything at night no matter what charge is left on it. If I could plug my dog in at night, I'd charge him too. Everything gets charged. Everything.

If you haven't done so already download Battery Indicator (free or paid - I got the paid for the high res icon and customization). It's a great little battery meter that sits in the notification bar and has no impact on battery life itself. I love it. :D

It sits in the notification bar? Does it replace the embedded htc battery icon?

Now at 12% battery life left

after 1st charge it lasted 24hrs straight and i left it until the batt signal was in the red and was telling me to charge it. Going onto my second cycle to see it improves overtime. I did a lot with the phone too. I really wanted to test it out and go over my daily shores and usage with it. So far it's doing a lot better than the OEM batt. I'm very picky about my phone lasting as long as possible without turning anything down or off on a single charge so i am putting this batt to the test or returning it.

I just got notice today that Best Skins Ever started selling their skins for the Incredible. I've been using one of this on my ipod Touch for about 3 years now and it's still going strong (one of the corners is starting to peel off). What I like best about these screen and total body protectors is the price: these guys ship for $1, even if you order many. The reason is that they don't use extra packing or anything like that: they send the skins in a regular envelope. And the regular price of their skins is $8 for the full body protector, $6 for just the screen. Right now, they have a discounted price for the Incredible's: $6 for full body, $5 for just the screen. I just figured I'd pass this info on. I'm a big fan of bestskinsever and I was waiting for their protector for the Incredible. Here's the link: HTC Droid Incredible Skin

The Seidio charger is great and it can be used as an external charger powered by an outlet or laptop. Also acts as a USB charger for the phone..

Seidio - Your Single Source for Premium Smartphone Accessories

It is also "future proof" in that they make adapter kits for it for other and new phones..

I bought the seido battery and charger @ seido- I received it yesterday and after charging all night on the charger I stuck the phone in today and am still going strong. Normally I take my phone off the charger at 7 and by 1 I am drained of battery-- on the seido I am still at 31%- this has been with everything on.

I also have widgets going
FML
TFLN
Facebook
Gmail
Weather
Pandora

Up 9:17
Awake: 3:46

For about 3 hours I was on the internet/facebook/playing pandora and texting

I noticed this afternoon the drain is a lot slower on the battery if I turn off background data and wi-fi. I did not have a problem w/ emails or anything not pushing through. I am looking forward to making my phone last about 16 hours a day at least between charges. I know I am running a ton of things, I don't use an app killer, but I will kill an application through android if it is running like skype (since I never use it, but it starts up everyday).

I like having this phone connected all the time and I am way satisfied that it does. I of course want the battery issue to get better, but following some advise of others I think taking off the background syncing and lowering my auto sync on some things will greatly improve the battery life- after talking w/ friends w/ the iphone they have automatic syncing off cause it killed their battery- and besides for those trying to compare- you really cannot compare. Now I have two batteries and a charger that will charge two at once- beat that! :D

I'm going to do a new kind of test. I will turn everything off except for robo defense.

I will play robo defense until both batteries hit 5% (1300 oem, 1750 seidio).

Coming soon..
