They are listing some specs here. It looks like they are getting them from the Bravo brochure that listed it as the "Incredible" in the description a couple different times. If so it is listed w/ 512 ram, divx and dolby. If those specs are correct this thing is going to be, well, incredible.

HTC Incredible: Verizon's New All-Touch Phone Runs Android 2.1

If that is all true, then I say the Incredible is a no-brainer for me. Wouldn't make sense to me for Verizon to hold on to this phone and release it within a month of the N1 to have it be a lesser phone than the N1.

That's what i thought as well which is why i was surprised to see it listed as 256 MB in the most recent reports.

I know some people on this forum have some Verizon connections (that have been mentioned in the past), I think it is definitely time to start questioning them about a release date.... 2-3 months would be awfully long to wait for a phone that is just barely better than the N1 (and even that is debatable).

Nobody even knows when the N1 is coming out, just in the spring, which means at least 3/21.

I think they are going to treat the N1 just like Tmobile is, no family plans, no NE2, but that is just speculation.

The Incredible may only barely be better or about equal to the N1, but when it comes to the other things like support, discounts, and ability to use on a family plan it will push it over the top IMO.

I'm really curious as to the physical specs of the Incredible. It looks REALLY tall compared to it's width, which makes it look somewhat awkward. To me, that is a bigger turn off than the crazy red back. From the released pics, I like the look of the N1 and the recently leaked Legend more than this.

I was thinking and curious about the same thing...it seems very tall (not unlike the Droid) and i don't have a good feel for its thickness.

When I was watching the film of the incredible it still looks relatively thin when they flipped it over and back. Is it taller than the nexus one? I don

Since the Legend has also had leaked pics I am thinking we'll be seeing more and more leaks of HTC phones this week leading up to MWC next monday. Fun week ahead!

Yep, i'm definitely looking forward to the next week of news and leaks. :D

A post on the Unlockr lists this as CDMA version of Bravo. While this has long been speculated, i'm not sure if this comment on the Unlockr is any way any more substantiated or if they're "just running with it".

A 3.2" screen makes the legend not an option.

I thought the Bravo in the brochure topped out at 320mb RAM?

I'm going off what the site said. But I think you're right in that the brochure said 256 and somebody reported it was going to be 320 mb in the US

I can't remember what the brochure said exactly. Maybe they are talking about 512mb for ROM.

You can still see the video on Youtube.

Its the difference between roadmaps in October and December. The December roadmap has the RAM at 320mb for the Bravo. Though the Supersonic and Incredible look more like cousins to the Legend then the Bravo, at least with their button configuration.

Thanks for the info on the YouTube video, I was unaware that it was out there. The phone looks pretty fast and very nice, I'm kind of up in the air between this and the N1 now.

Really any need to differentiate? I mean, Bravo, Incredible, whatever right.. they're not going to release 2 sense ui droids...

Oh i see, you mean in the efforts to speculate on specs? Sorry...

Is color really an issue for some of you? A protective case takes care of this issue for most and it's really about the phone and what it can do.

For me, I'm a Buccaneers fan...Buccaneers Red - it was made for me!
I'm all in....now if we can just find out the release date!

So...I originally, we all pretty much did, thought that the Incredible was going to be Verizon's version of the Bravo. Well, after seeing pictures of the Bravo and of the Legend, the Incredible looks much more like the Legend to me. However, the Incredible has a larger screen. So, I think that all of these phones are just different phones all together. Not even variants of each other. When we saw the phone names from the leaked 2.1 Android rom there were names listed: Passion, Supersonic, Legend, Bravo, Incredible, etc. So, I now believe that all of those phones are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT phones. No lines blurred, no variants of one another. Just all completely different models. So...while everyone thought it was such a big move that Google had HTC make them their OWN phone, just for them, I think it's quite impressive that Verizon seems to have done the same thing. The Incredible is very unique and it looks like, to me, that it is a Verizon exclusive phone. I think that's pretty cool.

Incredible looks like the Bravo with capacitive buttons to me from the front.

I think you need to look at these different phones as having interchangeable parts like if you build your own PC. One phone may have a different cpu, so they have different drivers loaded in the OS for that. Another might have a different radio/antenna (think NIC card) , different drivers for that. Different buttons (keyboard drivers). Screen difference (monitor drivers). The outside shell is just a molded case, everything else they can swap in and out without a huge deal. Once everything is finalized they just make adjustments to the assemble phase as needed.

The only part we see is the aesthetics and we make a big deal about it, but it probably isn't a huge deal for them to make changes when google or verizon is making big orders for their needs.
