Yes, the wave needs to be mentioned on the first post of this thread with either a contact to PM for invite or kmoore's thread link. If a regular like you doesn't know about it then info is not being properly disseminated.

so from what i read the incredible is as follows haha

4.5" inch super amoled display
ruggedized to miltary specs
android 2.1 with second noice cancelling mic
the best qwerty keyboard ever on a cell phone
push to talk capable
2ghz tazmainian devil processor underclocked to 1.99 ghz
a 2550 mah standard battery
live 3d wallpaper with 3d projector/recorder so i can tell obi wan kenobi hes my only hope
quadruple led flash and dedicated flash button and when pushed twice double as lightsabre
also need to have "smart chip" which when in the presence of inferior cell phone will feed of their network to increase processing speed..


this is what im waiting for tomorrow..its going to be incredible and i know it wont be able to have all these things so if it has a 2500mah battery ill still settle..wont be easy tho..haha

this phone better be made available at midnite tonight online..anyone check the testman lately??

he always says on the show he has a house in phoenix so that doesnt surprise me and their finally back on tv today since last wednesday cause of march madness..

chad ocho cinco to win dancing with the sars! haha starts tonight.. will probably be over once the verizon wireless htc super incredible smartphone is released..

Personally I don't buy him at all.

He doesn't speak like an engineer.

Can't spell "laptop"
Doesn't use punctuation.

Also, I believe he said he can't get internet when not in his hotel room. Um, you are an electrical engineer who attends CTIA every year and you don't own a smartphone?

Lastly, he knew we were following his twitter when he wrote "Is there a forum to talk about this?"

How many people know what the HTC incredible is, are interested in it, and have not seen this forum? And if he did know the name of the phone and what a forum was, why write it in twitter? A simple google search of "HTC Incredible Forum" and Viola! he would have found this.

Too many holes for me.
 
Was looking up a phone for a friend, and the ol' chat came up.

Was interesting. Kenia first said she knew nothing about the Incredible or Nexus One and then I said I was leaving VZW for a provider with newer phones and then she said some stores had the phone I want so then I asked the following:

You: So you know some stores have the HTC Incredible and the Nexus One?
Kenia: Yes i do it has been released in some stores.

I don't know if I believe her or what and she disconnected the chat before I could ask if she would confirm stores have just the nexus one or just the incredible or both.

Who cares? Hell I'm pretty sure one of the inside sources that everyone fawns over is fake. But does it matter? No. Either there is an official announcement this week in which any false info gets outed or there is more waiting which wont matter if they snag a pic or not.

It doesn't really, but whether or not we have a credible source at CTIA seems like a more pertinent conversation to have here than the conversation about what Google Wave is.

Simply responding to wonderbread, because I was wondering ;) the same thing. I could be wrong, it's no big deal.

This prompted me to call 4 retail stores (corporate) near me and a reseller store. All of them except 1 had no clue about a new HTC device. The 1 that had a clue told me that honestly forums have more information to give about it then he does. Oh well

An earlier post indicated that a VZW store has received a box on Saturday/Sunday from Fed-Ex. The box was covered in a tape that says do not open until instructed.


Correct me if I got any of the details wrong.
