I dont think the Google sales channel is going to amount to much unless they change the basic setup. They've got to allow more people to get the phones at an upgrade price and have to streamline their customer support.

Idk, i doubt that thing will be released in March but i could be wrong. If anything, we can expect to hear about it in March. Theres been relatively little information on it.
Looks like it will come to Verizon as a follow up to the Droid.......seeing its virtually the same design and such. It looks real good though, i personally wouldn't be mad if i got an HTC Incredible/Nexus One and then this came out though. The 8MP camera and stuff would be useful but its not really a need considering that the camer/video recording on the HTC Incredible and Nexus One will be pretty good also.
If its really slim as they state, then that's great. Would like to hear more of it and maybe see a leaked test device.
The Motorola Shadow is absolutely beautiful though, possibly one of the nicest looking handsets out there if the render is correct. Kind of looks like the Concept of the Nokia AEON. The screen atleast. Too bad that phone never came out, atleast i dont think so.

HAHA!! we've been saying (ie. speculating) that the Incredible is gonna come out around the N1 since the beginning lol...No one knows for sure, and no one probably will know until the day before or what have you. But that would be awesome...I've made a promise to myself that the day I decide to buy the Incredible or N1 I'm taking the day off from work and customizing it for 15 hours straight lol

Let's not even call a march release of the N2 a rumor. The dudes who said March are a couple of bloggers who seem to just now be seeing the N2 pictures which I think engadget had a month ago. They don't even provide a rational for why March, so I assume it's just cause they think "oh hay phone release usually come a month after pictures rite guise?".
About 1080p recording: The N1 and Desire have hardware support for 720p but the Android software isn't up to the task yet. No way in the wide world of android is support for 1080p right around the corner. Google has mentioned the possibility of a qwerty version aimed at the enterprise, but it's not gonna be the Shadow in march. That's for sure.

The first pictures/renders of the Motorola shadow/mirage/N2 came up in like December. I also highly doubt it will be released in March. If we are to hear anything more about it, we will have to wait till CTIA.
Im gonna guess a release though for a device like this during summer. But the specs will most likely change by then, guaranteed.

The day the Incredible is released and we all get our's, it's going to be Incredible wallpaper day in the HTC Incredible sub-forum and for a lot of our committed/contributing members on here I'll design custom wallpapers for you guys. The only reason im a bit unsure is because from all the demo videos of the HTC Desire with android 2.1 and sense.....we only saw custom HTC Sense wallpapers and no live wallpapers

I have to admit, I thought it was pretty clear myself.
Yeah, I did and it mentions the NexusOne, although you are right, the article has a brief mention of the Incredible. I was really referring to all the chatter about the N1, Shadow, Desire, etc... Tends to clutter things up a bit and makes for longer reads to get the Incredible information.

That's not quite accurate. This video clearly shows the background moving. Now what I have noticed is that it seems to be running kinda laggy. I think what happened is the live wallpapers were bogging down the system and all the HTC employees disabled the live wallpapers so it ran better. This is my opinion. I'm sure they will iron out the bugs before its released and it will all run smooth. But Sense for 2.1 does have live wallpapers.

I believe that was to show off HTC Sense's "themes" where they pre-organize the apps/icons on the homescreens as well as the background. If you don't like their themes, then you can make your own and pick a live wallpaper through Android.

This is actually quite old news (including the picture). And they provide no evidence that it will be released in March, so honestly, I would not put any money on anything said in that blog - maybe other than the picture they provided that has been posted several months ago.
I wouldn't mind that. Gives people a choice and will probably show Google that their sales platform isn't going to "out-do" the traditional B&M way of selling phones.

Nice. Nothing better than insider information. I do assume that you'll be letting everyone in the Supersonic Forum know about this video when it drops, right? I for one am dying for SS info. I'm up in the air between the Incredible and Supersonic until I get a good look at both.
