First time poster. I have been browsing this thread since the first few pages. Just wanted to share something.
My wife recently starting working cleaning the two Verizon corporate stores in our area. I have went with her the last few times just to browse around the back of the store to see if I can find anything at all--(I'm stuck with a bb storm until this incredible is released)
In any case, I went tonight and I can say there are a lot of boxes labeled (marketing) or (advertisement) but nothing about the phone itself. They keep new phones locked up in a room that my wife doesn't have a key to.
I did ask them if they had gone through any "training" on the incredible, etc. and they had not. Who knows, it may come out soon, but they are not letting anything show at their corporate stores that we clean.

Went by my local store today and talked to a friend. He has heard of the incredible but in talking he said I new more about it then he did. He told me he would call me as soon as they came in (not sure when). He did say that after my NE2 is renewed, the next time the discount will go down from $100.00 and $50.00 to $50.00 and $30.00.

Oh man I knew I was forgetting something . . . musta blocked it out because it was something my daughter's dad would have said . . . too many conversations about lathes, drill presses, blah blah blah.

Ok, I have been meaning to ask this for a while - Costco has a Verizon kiosk in their stores - at least here, anyway. At any rate, they have a "no questions asked" 90 DAY return policy on their phones. 100% unconditional! And yes, they offer the Droid and Eris, among other phones. They also give you a free $25 accessory kit. Just curious as to why this hasn't been brought up in here before.

Nope. You can return it within 30 days with no penalties to your NE2, etc. You will have to pay a $35 restocking fee but I figure its like a lease payment on a car. I got to use a brand new phone for 30 days and it's a small price to pay to be sure I have the phone I want, which is an Incredible.
I bought an Eris on 3/18 and hoping the Incredible drops before my 30 days are up. It's helping me keep my sanity during this whole ordeal. It was good advice from someone on this forum.
