This only works if the processes behind the testman site feed into the production vzw list manager. Typically stage and production sites are fed from seperate databases.

in the midst of a confirmed release date frenzy, I've been holding on to my NE2 since October and just got a Verizon mailer that offers a free month of service(i.e. Credit toward my monthly access fee) if I would sign back up for a 2 year contract, offer good through May 7th. Perfect timing for an incredible launch!! Did any of you other holdouts get this in the mail?

Verizon has always been good to me, and have hooked me up on a few occasions, so I would say there is a very good chance they will help you out considering it is only a couple of days early.

I remember reading something a while ago to the effect that every new android phone Verizon releases will started with "Droid".
i.e., Droid Eris, Droid Incredible, etc.
Perosnally, I could care less, as long it's "Droid in my hands" by the 29th!!

Ambient light sensor and proximity sensor on left side if your facing phone. On right side I believe its the notification light.

Question: Does anyone know if Verizon has offered preorders on phones before? If so, have they been delivered on release day? I'm thinking this may be the best course of action to get my Instant Rebate, NE2, and the phone ASAP.
