Quick question:

Verizon is offering me the 'discounted price' to upgrade to a smartphone from my dumb phone only until May 1st (a couple people in this thread have previously brought this up.)

Can I use that rebate online or at Best Buy?? Or only at Verizon stores...

I'm trying to figure out how to use this to get the Incredible... I am worried about not getting it the release date because of short stock (i have a 1 day window). i am considering buying a droid and then trading back within the 30 days for an Inc but would rather not have to pay a $35 "restock fee"... Thanks!! :)

Just an observation. The left side of your hug was heavier than the right side (based on the amount of parenthesis you used). You must be left handed and therefor I can only conclude that you are currently holding a Droid Incredible on your left hand. What else can cause a Man to teeter one way :p

On a seriour note. I have nothing but respect for you and everything you have contributed to this forum. Hopefully someone will send you a FREE Droid Incredible for your Incredible contribution to this site. Just don't look at me for the freebie :)

Just spent 2 hours catching up on today's news, and now I'm exhausted since its 1am. Hoping for an official announcement tomorrow!

Oh and Steven58 if you ever do post any singing videos to YouTube, I'd love to see/hear it! That's really cool.

I commented on a thread about highest posts. If you guys disagree that most of the posts of some of those folks are off-topic, fine -- I'm not going to argue. I wasn't trying to be an ass.

Side note: Montana Man: I wasn't arguing that they don't keep it upbeat. In my second post I said "not related to the phone" instead of garbage. Sorry.

Most of the time the 'discounted price' is just the 2yr contract renewal price. To my knowledge the only discount, other that company discounts, is the NE2. That being said Best Buy should be offering it at the 'discounted price' and without having to do a mail-in rebate all the time.

Yeah, I am assuming it is the 2yr contract price (which I am happy about), but my 2 year isn't up till like November.. So this 'offer' verizon is giving me isn't my ACTUAL 2year but just a promo. But you Best Buy will still honor that??

can we get that added on the first page of this thread? it gives it a nice... "praise from caesar" feel

this might save someone a google search: It means you received the highest compliment. Caesar was the most powerful man in the world and he didn't have to praise anyone, so if Caesar gave you praise, you know it's well-deserved.
