I know that's totally logical. It might be the phonecrush playing tricks on me but the display on the bionic seems a little brighter than my D3...to me.

Yeah I just watched the video on engadget and it appeared to be fast, they mentioned zero lag so far.

Not saying it isn't, since I have not seen one in person ;) I should have put "should".

You have a Droid 3 and getting a Bionic too or just checking it out?

Yeah, I got the D3 for work. The D3 is what made my mind up on the Bionic. The Bionic will be under my personal account. Maybe when the phonecrush wears off, I'll have more of an objective opinion. :p

FYI, you hurt your battery. You're suppose to initially charge the battery until a few hours after it's been fully charged. But, I don't think it did much damage.

Phone definitely looks great. I may skip the "buy from Costco for Prime exchange" plan and buy it from an online retailer for cheap.

Does it really hurt the battery that much? I mean, do you guys set timers as to how long to leave it on the charger for? All my phones in the past I just plugged in @ night when I went to bed and unplugged when I got up .... does it make that much of a difference?

Fill me in please.
 
I thought that was for older batteries. The new batteries don't have the "memory" problem that old batteries do and can be charged "as needed" and still retain their full capacity.

Besides, when you're rooted, you can always clear bat stats. ;)
 
And she's home! Woot! Got the the Verizon store right when it was supposed to open and found out it opened at 8am, damnit! Either way, it's gonna take some getting used to. And now to play... :)
 
JUST GOT MINE!! lol
I got there at 9am and there was a line of 5 ppl. :eek:
I was the first to leave the store with one.
They had a lot of accessories including the otterbox case :) YAY!!!
My Bionic was on SALE!!! $249.99!!! I love it so far!!!! (after 20 min). lol

Store had A LOT of accessories and balloons and it was a great experience :)
