all I've been seeing is a lot of bad mouthing from a lot of ppl. isnt that kinda messed up? sure its been taking a while since he talked but a lot of the devs that made awsome roms here took a long time to get there and had there own ways to get there as well, bo started with alphas, genovdot brought releases working fast or when it took a while had some very noticable changes. I know its skeptical but a lot of devs have there own style of handling their roms, maybe this is his. also if porting beats audio was so simple y didnt anyone else do it b4 he did? coofee holders can be made by anyone but the guy that got the idea first is cashing in and the ones saying it was simple to make are left looking like sore losers.

I was referring to the fact that ICS will not run full featured and fast on our phones, at full featured it would run clunky, slow and not so responsive, therefore I would not run it even _if_ this kid produced, as I want my phone to run full featured, fast and responsive..

Np its just how it sounded mate.

But a full featured ics wouldn't work on the device. You could make it work but Things like face unlock would be convoluted how you would have to unlock the device. Movie editor wont even go there...

Think you get the idea.
 
Can everyone please calm down and stop arguing? Even if this is fake there are others working on this. This is not worth arguing about.

Actually i think beats was ported by someone else before him.. Don't care really as Bel Dsp works just as well and is 40x easier to implement into any rom.. Also its open source so its highly documented and easier to work with takes the guessing out of which libs and frameworks need to be modified over n over not to mention bug bashing it. But hey diffrent strokes for different fokes.

Not bashing him I do suggest he removes the official out of the name tho. As its highly misleading.

Oh I would be more than happy to acknowledge his work n skill once he shows his src etc ;)

But claiming to built it from src I myself want proof.

The screen resolution is 320x480


So it IS our phones resolution, but a reverse Image search only brings up similar pictures, not the photo I used to search it with..

So it could be real.

Nevermind, I found out where the picture came from... Fake.

ICS runs fast and responsive on most phones. Even basic Barebone ICS ROM's on crappy phones, run surprisingly good.
 
Folks, the bickering and rudeness stops now please. As per our site rules and guidelines (they're linked in my sig), that's not how we roll here on AF. We attack issues, not each other.

I appreciate you're all skeptical and anxious, but that gives you no reason to post some of the stuff I've had to delete. Until there's reason to do the opposite, lets all be patient and give the OP the benefit of the doubt and the time to show what he can do.
