Verizon told a few people on Twitter that the update would be rolling out over a few weeks. Maybe this was your advanced wake-up call.

I was running the leak and I've been back to GB for a day now and am missing ICS (probably because it was new and shiny).

Anyone else get the pop up informing them that the 4.0 upgrade is coming soon? It was a notification and when I clicked on it popped up kind of like a change log some apps do.

Welcome to Android Forums!

It's possible that you will need to get the ICS upgrade either from your local carrier (if that is who you got the Razr Maxx from) or from Google. I doubt that the Verizon version of ICS will be available to you (outside of the leak that is...).
 
Not rooted, no notice, check says no update needed. 2.3.6

I am west coast though, so maybe it will be there tonight.

I just bought my first Droid Razr this afternoon. Switched from Sprint to Verizon and absolutely love the phone. Didnt think you could love something more than the EVO. I was wrong!

No ICS for me, I havent even looked at rooting this phone yet, still playing with it. Would like to get the clock/weather widget that I got used to on my EVO.

Everyone will get the notification, and the notification said the update will come within a week. I've not heard anyone say the SOAK test has happened, and until there is a SOAK, there will be no general release of ICS.

So.....we should all relax. Once the SOAK is reported, then eveyone can get excited.

Verizons twitter said the date posted (22nd) was full release. no soak test.
