some ICS info from Verizon: Software Update - Coming Soon!
and from Moto: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA
As with anything from VZW and Moto, I dont believe a damn thing until I see it with my own eyes.
I feel like deja vu... Hasn't Verizon said once before (not ICS related) that they'll release an update/phone when THEY'RE ready, regardless of what the mfgr says? Not trying to be a downer, just trying to remain realistic, so when we're all back here on Monday complaining about ICS not being rolled out, it doesn't surprise anyone.
EDIT - Nevermind... flame on....
I still say June or July. On the DX we received four different leaked GB builds before finally seeing an official ota
i don't wee any Moto product getting it before June/July timeframe.
No flash support on ics?
NOW I'm getting excited. I was doing fine with the rumors, and now I am feeling very impatient. WHICH is NOT MY NATURE ha ha ha ha.
I love my phone already, so this is just gravy, getting ICS. Yippeee.:dancing2:
Just to let you know, especially if you've never been through a Verizon Android update, 99% of you will not see anything today. Verizon likes to send out updates at night when traffic is low. Some of you may wake up to the update notification this weekend. Most of you will not see it until this coming week. They take it slow to avoid network problems and to see how many people start reporting problems.

SO I want to put 211 on my wife's phone without root, is there a tried and true method out there?
I know my way around the phone...just haven't touched a Motorola in a while. Thanks Again!
