I just received the update tonight too! I wonder if everyone is getting it now that it's the last day of the month, and also of Quarter 2?
 
I hit "check for updates" an hour ago and nothing was there. I hit it again half an hour ago and it's done installing and starting up now. I don't know why it has to be OTA when it could come over wifi 10 times faster. Whatever, it's good to finally have it. I've played with it for a few minutes and I love it already. Colorado Springs by the way because I know it matters...

Wait..... I thought you could download the update via wifi...... is this not the case?
 
I checked an hour or so ago, said the update was available, so I downloaded and installed it.

I don't have any e-mail. I checked the various settings and I have to change the default authentication and recreate my signature for each e-mail account. I can't find a way to copy a new signature so I can paste it into my other e-mail accounts. E-mail app no longer lets you display your choice of checkboxes or not, checkboxes are on all the time now.

Double tapping the Shift key no longer turns on Caps Lock, you have to press and hold.
 
I got home from work around 3 am, manually checked for update and there it was. I turned on wi fi and downloaded, took forever, about 40 min. Installing now. I have had some problems with Internet connections at home, maybe that's why it took so long to download. Was going to go to bed, had to pour my second drink while I wait for install.
 
Checked around 3:30 am cst this morning manually and it was there,download went smoothly over wifi and seems to be working great so far!
 
I just downloaded it and am waiting for it to finish. Quick question... I'm planning on doing a factory reset. After the download, can I wait til later today to install?

I'm down loading it now over wifi. I had no notification until I checked system updates and then I got a message.

Somewhere in settings, I recall, I had it set to use wifi only when available for data. Could be why I didn't automatically receive a message?

In Central Illinois.

Edit - Over wifi it took less than 20 minutes to download OTA
 
Wow, Well I guess Droid-Life was right when they posted the Verizon Tweet yesterday. Someone keep track of that guy! He knows what he is talking about! Downloading now!
 
My wife went shopping yesterday and bought ICS (the actual frozen treat, not the OS) and I was going to place one on my phone and say "Look ICS is on my Razr!" Now I don't have to! It started downloading when I turned my phone on this morning! It's updating right now! :)
 
Problem... is anyone else having to reset all saved passwords, app permissions, etc?

Also, there used to be an option in Contacts where you could limit contacts displayed by only those with phone numbers. Does anyone know where that option is? I can't find it in "People"... the replacement for Contacts in ICS.
 
One problem I've noticed with ics so far is that is has placed a pic from my gallery ad the default pic 4 all the art covers in my music player and 4 the life of me I can't figure out how to change it (old system used the actual art cover 4 each individual song that was playing) any help out there?
 
Ok so I got up this morning and got my smokes and coffee and was sitting on the porch hitting the software update button to no avail. So I got curious and restarted my phone, checked again, and bam. Now its downloading. Probably havent restarted my phone in over a week so.

RESTART YOUR PHONES and then check. It might just work. Worked for me.
