Ok, the alarm problem seems to have miraculously sorted itself.

I've also noticed that the screen grounding issue seems to have gone away, which is peculiar as thats hould be hardware related, not software??
 
got mine today iam on O2 .... wont sync facebook profile pics so now my handcent wont show any pics next to txs also how do u get rid of the action bar at the top with the apps drawer icon, settings and search icon its ruined my look ...also iam using ADW does seem a touch faster though

Got excited by the ICS upgrade when I got it 2 days ago, now totally frustrated.
No sound in any apps, video files don't play, battery drains flat with no usage in 7.5 hrs with wifi, gps, background data and all apps turned off, screen brightness at minimum. Phone idle battery usage is close to 50%!!!!! Even in airplane mode, battery drains at 10%/hour. Tried the 'fixes' suggested in various forums to remove battery & put it back in and factory reset. Contacted HTC support, they have no answer.
I've only had this phone for a couple of months and loved it until the upgrade... now just pulling my hair out looking for solutions.......
 
the battery is definitely draining faster. I've calibrated once, planning to do it again a few nights and hopefully it'll go back to the (pathetic) 9 hours I was getting.

May 3rd, Galaxy S3, I'll be paying attention.
 
Sorted the action bar , it was part of adw but kept un hiding so have gone back to sense ...defo seems battery draining quicker ... Main problem for me is handcent sms will not not show contact pics ...have un installed re installed etc no joy ... Going to try find an older apk and turn off auto update :)
 
I have just faced a problem I.e. "Android is upgrading" after updating to ICS on every time of restarting. Is here anybody, can give me a solution to get rid of it. Thanks in advance.

Completely with you. was impressed with the phone until ICS, now have had full factory reset, returned thhe phone following this and now it is going back tomorrow for a second time with everything other than SIM and SD card (previously HTC only wanted the shell). Avoiding Apple just doesn't seem to be worth the effort! Bizarrely, about the only thing I can reliably do with my phone is make calls! Hardfly "smart"?!? :rolleyes:
 
Have there been any updates to fix these issues, of have HTC abandoned the Sensation XE now for updates?
