I'm wondering if Google Apps for Business are not ready for inbox.

Oh yeah, sorry I missed that part. Inbox is being beta'd for general Gmail users first; it doesn't support Apps for Business yet.

Secondarily, is there a way to pull back an invite so that it's not wasted?

You can just forward the invite email. I did that yesterday successfully.

I havent gotten my invite yet, but when I tried to sign into inbox with google apps for business, it recognized that and said my business has not setup inbox yet.

Is this the beginning to get support for google apps for business?

I think this is just how Google tests new products before offering them to their paying Google Apps customers.

It seems for most it was taking a few days. For me, I didn't get any invites until day 6.

Sounds good...Is there a way to get an unread count badge with Inbox?
My regular gmail app has it, but I don't see an option for it on my phone for the inbox app... This could be a deal breaker for me?

I'm not sure of hand. I took a quick look and didn't see the option. Keep in mind though that it's still in beta.
