I think the stock camera app is a bit better. The launch screen is neato, having five shortcuts in the base bar instead of four is good. My coffee hasn't kicked in.

I heard a rumor you can do screenshots with ICS? Anyone know how?

To do a screen shot, press the power button, and volume down at the same time. Similar to a re boot, but only for 1 or 2 seconds.

Is this new? You can enter something to show on the lock screen.

I put "If found call (my google voice #)"

If someone wanted to return my phone, and I realized I'd lost it, I'd redirect my google voice to my house and work phone #s.

Got it at 3:30 this morning. Takes a lil getting use to. Installed with no issues. Took about 10 to 15 minutes total.

I thought taking a screen shot was accomplished by turning your hand on its side abd sweeping the entire sceeen from right to left or maybe left to right. I saw this on a video review of the galaxy s3, not sure if it is an ics feature or a galaxy feature.

When using Google Voice does the dialer call log show the number called or the access number google assigns? Also does the google calendar delete events when they are deleted on the web?

Sharon, If you dont mind a question......I have some of my contacts set as Direct Dial on the main screen on my phone. If you have this as well, does ICS disable, or remove that feature?

Not the widget....You touch the pic, and it automaticly dials the number....?

Direct dial is a widget you go into, and pick the contacts that you want showing on the home screen.

It's in the widget section of the applications.

Now, on the home screen, a long press only accesses the wallpaper options.

To add stuff to the home screen, you go through the "apps" to long press. the widgets are in a separate tab, and that's where I found the Direct Dial.

I set up a couple of contacts, and their cute little pics showed up on the home screen, that when touched, dials them.

A year ago when I had the LG ally there was a big update everyone was waiting for. I got mine about 3 days after reports started showing up in the forum like they are now. I kept going into settings and checking for updates, finally one night when I checked it came in. I don't know if my checking for updates did it..or it just came on its own.
