might as well wait and push 5.1 then. Seems like 5.0.1 has too many bad bugs..Uh oh... we are outdated again... 5.1 is going to be released, possibly within days on Nexus devices.![]()
Is this a thing? Might I be able to do that (if I really wanted to, which I'm not sure...) with my Verizon G3?As you have stated the over the air roll outs are staggered. Maybe you can get the update by plugging your phone into a PC and using the LG PC Suite to check for an update to get it that way.

There is no staggered anything yet...
At this point Verizon should skip right to 5.1 with the G3 and try to save some face.
Android is starting to sound like Windows with known bugs pushed out in updates. Are they going to push updates on a single day and call it OTA Tuesday.Actually, should wait until 5.1.1 as there is still a memory leak in 5.1. Google has said they've fixed it, but they have not given a release date for the 5.1 fix.
I'll stick with 4.4 stock. Runs like a dream for me.
