what is an HTC first? and I googled it, just because it's a GSM phone doesn't automatically mean you will get LTE.

i have an unlocked AT&T pantech flex p8010 here and the apn settings just magicall updated themselves. im so lost.

i forgot to mention i am an authorized metro dealer and nobody i have contact with within the company know what the hell to do. im in kingston mass 02364

Welcome to the forums . I think you may need to do a manual programming to the device and make sure the apn is correct .

Access the hidden menus on the phone I bet when you go to test phone its on gsm/wcdma preferred from there you can change it to gsm/wcdma/LTE that may fix it

Yes it is but the only way to get 4g lte you would need the original atandt apn. Something that is on the apn that att has to make it work . I think a custom rom may do the trick .

The APN wouldn't make a difference. On no other phone it does.

I think that non tmobile branded devices are blacklisted from using LTE on epc.tmobile
Or maybe that was just in testing
