I received my N6 from AT&T. I unboxed it, turned it on and placed it on my qi charger. The same charger that charged my N5 and still charges my N7. Nothing, nada, no charging. Moved the N6 around in every position possible. Nothing, nada.

AT&T has somehow disabled the wireless charging.

Or, maybe, it's defective? Take it to an AT&T store and show them.

Yea I'd be on the side of defective, with all the reports of bloat, branding and welcome screens I am sure someone would have mentioned they disabled wireless charging. Besides, why would they even want to disable wireless charging, it would make their version of the phone substandard. It's one thing to add a bunch of useless crap and another thing altogether to literally change the phone.

Or I could read another couple posts down and realize it's the brand of charger. (DUH)

I've read a few places that a Nexus 6 purchased from Motorola will not work on Verizon unless you have an active nano SIM card. I read there are some ways to get around this but I wanted to see if that is really the case. Thanks

Count me with you guys on this! I'm pretty angry with Verizon now. Seriously thinking of leaving them. But...since I still haven't decided between the Edge and the N6, I'm holding off from switching. Although you can get updates on the Edge, no official date yet. That said, Verizon is on the clock...

I switched to T-Mobile earlier this year and haven't looked back.

Nice. Is it shipping ground or overnight and did you pay for ground or overnight?

I paid for ground, and now I'm kicking myself in the ass. Could of had it this weekend... :(

At least I'll have it before the holiday. I ordered a case and screen protectors on Amazon that should be here the same day, so I'm happy about that.

Cool thanks. I ordered mine yesterday morning and paid for ground at the store but the rep I spoke just now said it is going to ship UPS overnight. We'l see! I hope it goes out soon :)

She's here!!

Glass screen protector is on and so is my Spigen case. Just waiting for final activation from AT&T.

Delivered at 1:53 PM! Yes. Ordered from T-Mo online Wednesday morning, paid for ground, and already here. Great service, maybe Google could learn a thing or three here.

Thanks Karl! Did they provide you shipping/tracking information or did it literally just show up? I've gotten texts from T-Mobile saying the order was processed and then a "thanks for the order" text but that's it.

Received mine yesterday afternoon, so it was waiting for me when I got home from work. After turning it on, the first thing I did was unlock the phone and then went ahead and trimmed my Verizon sim card to fit (had been using a micro sim), and then spent the rest of the evening setting up the phone.

Today, I did some fine tuning, and also rooted and installed TWRP. I also did a mod I found on XDA that unlocked the wi-fi hotspot functionality (don't really ever use it, but I want to have it available in case I need it), and then spent a couple of hours talking to my friend down in Floriday, so I got a chance to test out its performance in that regard as well.

So far, I'm really very happy with the device. It is a little unweildy yes, but that comes with its advantages too, as it is just so much easier using apps/working online/typing on that larger screen.

So we are allowed back? Hmm. Not sure what I think of the place yet?

Anywho.

So yesterday I found the flight my NexSix was on and ended up tracking it ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT. Literally. I got home from work and didn't go to bed until 330am, it was in Memphis then. I woke up at 5am thinking of the phone so I looked and it was headed to Pittsburgh. So now I was wide awake. I checked and checked and it was finally leaving PGH for my local facility, at least I thought. They were behind on their updating. At 1015 it showed that it had been out for delivery for an half hour. So crazy me sat in the hallway looking out the window waiting for the truck. He showed up at 1039am. YAY! I was up from 8am yesterday till 330am, napped for an hour and half and have been up ever since.

I didn't turn the phone on until around 5pm today, had stuff to do and had to buy a new laptop for rooting and whatnot. My last one died back in March, or so? Spent a good bit of the day uninstalling, downloading and updating the new hardware then tackled unlocking the NexSix.

I don't care what anyone says...I get nervous every time. Even got a little worried for a few minutes!

I still need to disable encryption and root and change the dpi.

I purchased a cutter off Amazon. There were no problems cutting the Macro Sim from my G2, just had to sand it a bit. Placed it in my NexSix and Verizon LTE started right up.

Mind sharing the link to the one you bought? Would you recommend it?

It's also really easy to just cut it yourself. I was a little nervous about doing it without a cutter, but there are good templates to be found online, and as long as you're careful it's pretty easy (I watched a couple of how-to videos and read a couple of articles on how to do it just to get acclimated to what I should be doing).

I cut my micro sim down to a nano sim, sanded a couple of the edges with one of my wife's nail filing tools, and it fit right in the phone. After a minute or so the sim was accepted and I've been rocking Verizon LTE ever since.

Just got mine yesterday. The phone is huge and I love it!! I'm just glad I got this before Thanksgiving.

How do we know if we qualified for the Play Music free trial? When they first offered it upon debut I had a free trail, but I don't remember when that was? I guess you need 12 months in between service use.

So far, this phone still eludes me and any retailer in my area.

I cannot shell out the $800 in one go, credit card only has a $500 limit, so Google and Motorola are out of the question, plus I'm at work whenever Google puts them up.

The AT&T stores and Best Buy have no idea when they're coming in, which I find ridiculous.

I managed to order a 64 GB Midnight Blue at ~9 PM EST on this past Wednesday from Google Play. Now to wait until December 3rd for it to ship, hoping that it ships sooner.

I was reading wrong. Just sign up and it says you won't be charged until May.

I'm not a mobile game fan. If I'm not playing a game on my console then I just don't like it. With mobile games your fingers get in the way and if the games ha what they call buttons it is even worse. If I can't physically feel the button, my thumb ends up all over the place.

With that said. Monument Valley is stunning. It looks great on the NexSix and the game is fantastic. It was well worth the $3.99, imo.

Good Morning Will! How can I assist you today?

You: at 12:49:29
I was told to check back this week for information on a phone I'm interested in. I was wondering if you had any news on when the Motorola Nexus 6 will be available for Verizon? I see all of the other carriers are offering it right now, but I haven't seen anything from Verizon as of yet?

Cameron: at 12:50:21
We do not carry this model at this time, though it is supported by our network. The Reason for this is that Verizon and Google could not come to an agreement on release conditions.

You: at 12:52:20
Oh okay, so the phone will still be released on Verizon though at some point or no?

Cameron: at 12:53:05
No definitive word yet, though since it is supported on our network, there is a high chance it will be released by Verizon in the future.

You: at 12:55:46
Oh okay. Understood. Thanks.

Cameron: at 12:56:08
Your welcome! Thank you for chatting with Verizon Wireless, Have a wonderful day!

You: at 12:56:50
You too

So, yeah......I mean, this news we already knew, but she did confirm that Verizon and Google could not come to an agreement on release conditions. SMH. Like, I'm waiting to use my upgrade to get this phone and this type of stuff makes me lean more towards getting the NOTE 4. I currently have the NOTE 3, but I was wanting something different.

Verizon makes me frustrated. Not looking good for us Verizon folk.

...

Yep. Screw Verizon. As I have said, they are on the clock...if they dont produce the phone I want at the end of the week, I am gone. I think am leaning Edge right now over the N6, but in terms of Verizon, what does it matter? They dont have either right now!

I'm with you. If I don't hear anything by Friday, then I will definitely be purchasing the NOTE 4 for sure! I just can't continue to wait on them to come to an agreement to release this phone. Verizon is just too stubborn.
