3:42PM Okay, the HTC Rezound. It's officially official.

Time to change the forums name...

Update: wow that was quick

ICS-ready! ( although no update until early next year ). I think I can live with that. I just got hooked on the Rezound over the Gnex.

So, I'm pretty damn sure this will be my next phone. Now to see if I can get an even earlier upgrade than Dec 28th.

Exactly the same thing I was thinking! I have an upgrade available but 12/28 for additional loyalty discount. I'm sure that's my last NE2 upgrade. I don't see why they wouldn't honor it. Can't wait for the 14th!

A fellow Incredible launch person! I'm trying to figure out whether it's more likely to happen in person or online.

Indeed!

I've found that the customer service agents over the phone have been waaaaaay more helpful in almost all aspects of service. I'm going over the phone whenever they decide to take pre-orders or when we find out that they're taking orders ahead of time ( a la the Dinc ). :D

the Thunderbolt does this also. Or i should say, they do it in 3G ..

All LTE phones can do it. but the T-bolt and now Rezound can do it on 3G

That is really interesting; I had no idea. A particular iPhone fanboy friend of mine always raves about how the AT&T iPhone is SO MUCH better than the Verizon iPhone and all Verizon Androids because you can use data while talking on it. So much for that! Well, at least for a couple of the VZ Androids anyway.

I love my Evo 3D and because my previous phone broke I had to upgrade immediately... However, I wish I could have waited for these 720p phones. The Rezound, especially, has everything I want in a handset.

It's everything the Evo3D is but +1. Better resolution, better camera, better sound, faster processor, LTE, etc etc... I feel like the Rezound is the true silent successor to the Evo 4G.

Ohh well, enjoy your new phones everyone!

This is a lovely phone to have but I don't think you should purchase this phone if ICS is your #1 thing you want, because you'll likely be waiting longer than sooner getting it. Just my opinion, and hopefully I'm wrong on this. If you love the phone as is, and can realistically wait 6-10 mos. for ICS, then definitely jump on it.

i feel fairly confident you won't have to wait 6 months for ICS. they did pretty well with the EVO when it came to the OS updates IIRC. i'd say four months TOPS.

who cares. CM9 will be out before official ICS from HTC

So every Rezound will come with a pair of Beats ear buds?

Pretty good deal considering they're $100 a pop.

I think these are a pair of ear buds designed specifically for the ReZound in that these aren't the same ones you can go out and buy right now. They're probably good ear buds don't get me wrong but i would probably say they're not quite as good as the ones you buy stand alone. Probably a lower end version. Still a pretty good deal though if you ask me.

I'm about 90% this is my next phone. I'm still sticking to my plan though and waiting till i hear some real world user feedback.
