You post that in accessories thread also? Nice find btw!!

Yes we do. That is just a smaller version of the sense widget. Remove yours, then go to 'add new widget' and you get several clock widget options. The one shown in that pic is just a smaller one, probably without the animations

Are you sure? I don't see it among the available HTC widgets.

Got the Rezound yesterday to replace my OG Droid that died. Really like the Rezound and the speed improvements and the phone overall. I have the phone set up mainly how I want but one thing that I confused with is the contact list in Sense. Can anyone recommend a third party contact manager / dialer?

Glad to be using a phone Rezound vice wondering when I can get the phone GN :)

Thanks

Go Contacts is pretty good. It has a dialer and is themeable. Best of all it's free in the market. Personally, I like all of the apps by the Go Dev Team. That's what I'd be running if I didn't like Sense.

Okay, sometimes Big Red comes through . . . just got off the phone with a rep (after I had emailed them) and they switched me back to my grandfathered unlimited plan! SCORE!

Awesome! Congrats!

man i would just like to say that the camera on this thing rocks...coming from a terrible camera on the DX man i'm super excited now to take pics lol.

I felt the same way when I moved from my OG Droid to the TBolt.

In my experience HTC phones generally have better cameras.

The shutter speed is much better than that on the Thunderbolt. I click to take a pic on the Thunderbolt and I wind up having to take 2-3 pics because the shutter is so delayed. This thing has to have one of the fastest shutters on a phone.

lol, 2 years from HTML5 adoption sounds much better than the boat I'm in. My company still has a server that requires me to manually adjust for DST. And we're still stick on Windows XP as the standard...

XP here too.... A lot of band aids applied.

lol that sux.

IT work does suck. I once worked for a company that had an idiot woman of a VP. She wanted to run Quickbooks and Excel on an iPad. I tried to explain to her that the only way you're going to get good compatibility with Windows products and Quicken products is when you buy hardware that is COMPATIBLE. Nothing worse than a spoiled VP/manager that wants things their way and only their way.

But I digress... Is anyone else having trouble logging into Apps that require them to sign into their Verizon account? (i.e. NFL, Verizon Video, or Watch)

How long is that supposed to be free to ReZound users?

I think it's good for this season, but if you don't have unlimited, keep that in mind. I think it was free to all 4G customers this season. I doubt I'll pay for it next year, the video isn't really that great and I don't work nights or weekends so I see most games anyways.

My wife and I joined the Rezound family today by using the Amazon 1 cent deal which we couldn't pass up. I've been following the saga of the Galaxy Nexus for weeks but I'm glad to give up the drama, save money, and still get a really good phone. This is my first Android device for both my wife and me so I'm we'll have a learning curve, but the posts on these forums are so helpful and I appreciate all the good information that is shared.

Congrats and welcome. I think you'll be pretty impressed. Be sure to run the battery in well, I'm finding it is continuing to improve.

Welcome to the family! I know just how you feel. I came to the ReZound(smartphone) from what I like to call the dumbphone experience. Don't get me wrong it served me well for what it was but it was a $20 1G phone that I used for texting mostly. Voice quality was beyond horrible..lol. Your learning curve will be a lot less steep with the help of the good people on this site.

I meant to wait for the Galaxy Nexus, but the wife needed (wanted) a new phone today. Since she doesn't care about "vanilla" or "customization", she wanted to see the Razr and the Rezound. We both walked out with Rezounds and the extended battery. It definitely feels better with the stock battery cover, but I imagine the extended will go quite well with unlimited data. Now I can stop paying attention to the Galaxy Nexus!
