There is a sprint app that you can run. I forget what it s called specifically, as I have deleted it. It it should contact sprint for you. But that is just odd. Have you tried a voip app like Google voice?

No I have not. Would an app like that cause this problem? Because I might have ran an app like that and just don't realize it. I will look for that Sprint app on the market. Thank you.

The Sprint Ip app has me searching on how to request a mobile number before i can log into it after going thru the entire registration process. I got rid of the app. I imagine you have to go thru the same painful experience of navigating thru sprint's impenetrable wall of inconvenience with Google talk on mysprintrelay.com

Google voice is a great app. I need to be able to call Sprint in case my internet connection goes down so it won't work for me. Thank you for your advice. Looks like I'm gonna have to put up with sprint on this.

Final update. My phone magically calls Sprint now. The only explanation for this is that I had to register at mysprintrelay.com wich was part of the process for getting that sprint app to work. Registering did the trick. Another problem solved. Sprint could learn a thing or two by reading these forums. Thanks.

One more thing. URGENT. After trying the Google voice app and deciding it wasn't for me, I signed up, didnt like it and uninstalled it. Now my voicemail message are going to Google voice instead of my voicemail. How can I switch it back?

Long story short. I was still integrated with Google voice even though I had uninstallef the app. It's also the only reason I was able to call from my phone. Oh well. Back to square one. All though jerofld was right. Using Google voice will solve this problem. Sorry for all the babbling.

Dial *38, wait for the beeps, then hang up.

Both apps that you suggested, Sprint IP and Google Voice will call customer service from my phone. I just didn't know what I was doing. A viable solution to a bizarre problem. Thankyou.

I have hboot 1.49.1107 s-off and I keep getting failures when attempting to flash kernals. I managed to successfully flash a shooter Rom and now my WiFi and WiFi hotspot say error when I attempt to activate them. Please help.

Sorry to veer off topic but has anyone tried downloading or just viewing 3D pics from the phereo website (not the app)? Whenever I download a cool pic from phereo.com it doesn't seem to be the right format...that or the EVO wont view it right...not sure if anybody knows...? But help that other poster first if you can.

The phereo app seems to restrict the content and there's no way that I can see via the app or the website to lift that restriction on the app, just the site. Maybe I can sync the phereo app with my account settings on the website?

Did a little homework for two seconds and found that phereo has there own forum. There I go. We should rename this to the I'm stupid thread..

*Note to anyone who uses the phereo 3D App and the website that you need to be on a PC to upload an avatar initially or to log into the forum for the first time but you can stay logged in. At least that's what I'm told. It's odd because the site automatically logs me in but the forum login doesn't seem to recognize the mobile web browser nor does the avatar upload. Anyone ever been able to do it from their 3VO?

Searching for hot girly pics on their site is fairly easy and if you favorite a pic, you can view all your favorites in the App.

why does my phone shut off constantly... its my seconds phone.. they wont take back this phone ive had it for 3 weeks ... then when i try to turn it on it wont turn on unless its plugged in a charger ?? and does anybody know of a warranty on these phones ... thanks for your time ... plz help !!!!!!!!

Sounds like a bad battery. Your phone has a manufacturer's warranty for 1 year, so they should replace the phone (or at least the battery). Make sure you go to an actual Sprint Repair Center and not just a "Sprint by <whoever>" store. Those franchise stores really suck when it comes to customer service.

Happy New Year everyone! When I am entering text into a field the entered text disappears and when I attempt to re-enter the text that disappears as well; also the keyboard disappears and the screen will flicker sorta when I tap for the keyboard or the keyboard will pop-up then disappear. I hope that I explained this well enough...does anyone the fix to this?

I just started having same problem..

Nope..usually have to shut off and restart..happens frequently and I've done factory reset.but have noticed that the little box comes up where you cut paste touch input comes up when screen starts bouncing around. Does it randomly..thanks

Have learned a lot since discovering this site. You guys are great!! :)

If I download a skin from HTC hub to an Unrooted phone and want to delete it, is there any way to delete it without rooting the phone? A factory reset should do the trick...I was just hoping some superwiz might know a different way thru Astro or something. Skin be gone please!!

Thx..I think it had something to do with swype as i was playing around with it earlier. Tues it decided it wanted to stay and play for a while. ;)

You can try going into Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Then finding the skin and trying to uninstall it from here, but I don't think that works. Other than that, I think it's either root or factory reset.
