It's curious that BB is continuing to take Pre-Orders while Sprint has ceased doing so. As soon as I decided to go ahead and order mine with them too! lol Figures.
 
If it's next week, I don't mind! I also purchase mines through Sprint store, so there is no obligation as I have a gift card with $50 on it! The Store rep told me I can get a refund, but I declined...apple your pathetic attempt to sway will not work!

This looks to be better news.

I had contacted wirefly and the rep there told me they get the orders direct from the manufacturer and still plan on processing my order on the 19th. They did confirm that if you had orderd later than the first two or three days of pre-order that there is a 2-3 week delay.

So, I think that the new release date looks pretty good and barring some unforseen crapple attempt to stop it we should be good.

Thank you for the kind words. I did tell Mz. Skid about all of you thanking her for getting the story in. That kind of stuff makes her feel good about her trade.

We're already talking about a follow-up on this particular clusterfudge, along with some (hopefully) good news on the Network Vision rollout.

BTW... Mz. Skid is an OG Evo owner and she isn't ready to let it go yet.

My credit is gone. I think I might have been on a weird "timing" scenario, where I didn't pay for "last month's" bill because they credited my account for the $200 for the EVO... but now that that has disappeared, I have to pay for "last month's" bill and "this month's" bill in my next payment cycle.

I'm pretty sure that's what happened, since I wasn't charged this month, and my monthly payment date is the 7th (the same day I ordered the EVO). Just wanted to bring this up in case others are getting "double billed" in June after escaping a bill in May. I guess it all works out.
 
I about pissed myself, over the past two days, twice, when going into my email and seeing "'Your HTC Evo 4...' Has Shipped!" and then realizing that it was my OG Evo case and OG Evo screen protectors. They arrived today :o (ordered them to turn my OG into a VOIP house phone). Now I'm sad because I don't have my LTEvo, AND I can't use these items yet.
 
For what its worth, when I pre ordered my sprint bill was 0, I ordered on the 7th at 6:09am PST, my $199.99 was taken out of my account the next day and u haven't seen credits to or from my account over the last two weeks of this whole drama. I have checked it along with my order status everyday.

Nothing in the discussions about the ruling though say anything about the impact on our phones -- it's a separate-ish matter. Our current beef is with the ITC/Customs, and not at the District Court of Delaware level (from what I've seen).
 
Did I read it wrong or does that UPS have a customs hub in it's facility. Theoretically customers who ordered through Sprint could still see their phones tomorrow if this got cleared up this morning. Since there would be no delay in getting them to the shipping facility since they should be there.
 
Also just on a funny side note, I won a guitar off ebay which is scheduled to get here on the 23rd...so I'll have a new phone and a guitar to play with. I'm going to be so torn.

Most large shipping facilities have a dedicated customs section fenced off and guarded by US officials. With the news that preorders are packed and waiting for approval it is assumed that the phones are in Kentucky and ready to roll. I was in the Air Force and if we had bags held up in customs we were allowed access to it just not allowed to remove it from the customs zone.

My guess is workers have been prepping pre-orders all week and it should be less than a day once approval is given to get them all shipped.

EDIT: I have no proof of this pure speculation based off a limited knowledge of how customs work.
 
Okay so i just checked phandroid's News section and it definitely is claiming two website's are and best buy is saying the devices will start shipping May 23rd and that best buy is sending out emails to all of those who pre ordered that there devices will ship on or before May 23rd!?!? Has anyone else seen this? I pre ordered mine on May 07,2012 at 9am promptly through Sprint online :( so does anyone know if this email best buy is sending out has any true meaning behind it and does anyone know of someone who pre ordered through best buy and could provide proof of this said e mail from best buy stating these claims!? Cause i still have yet to see word from Sprint and best buy re opened their pre ordering online as far as Sprint goes there's is still closed so I'm kinda clueless but It's gotta have some truth because best buy I don't think would be that stupid to piss off customers twice with launch dates that aren't true and open the gates for more pre orders to come in?! Do you guys? :( :-) :( :-) Im not sure what to think of that at this moment...

I agree with this 100% !!!! I can't remember exactly what site it was but last night I came across a website that somehow had a sneak peak of our phones wrapped and bagged up in these giant shipping containers inside the Kentucky factory and the jet was waiting for them to loaded on with customs officials waiting beside the packages!!! I swear I saw this picture but I'm not sure if there is any validation behind it :(
